CPU/Mobo Q9450 Redington Batch

I should be kinda thankful to u and harshal for showing the way, luckily dice availability is not an issue in Delhi, though LN2 is real PITA in every respect.
 
Didn't want to bump up an old thread but didn't want to start a new one either :ohyeah: but I need some help here.

What are the temps you guys getting? Coretemp and realtemp both show diff temps and the BIOS something else (idle temps). Googled but seems there's a lotta conflict about this and no definite answers about which/ what readings are legit.

Reason I'm asking is I want a stable speed+ good temps as I want my rig to last forever and ever while I manage to squeeze out the best possible perf. Also, one core seems to be a bit higher than the others at all times :S ! All help/ inputs welcome+expected+demanded :P !
 
i get 60 ° C max at full load @ 3.5 ghz and around 40 ° C idle with arctic freezer 7 pro on Q9450 :P .

realtemp is the best :)
coretemp usually blows temps out of proportion
 
This chip is awesome :ohyeah: , my CM600w psu was bottleneck for 8800GTS+ Q9450 overclocked :@ , after removing 8800GTS i am able to start windows at 3.9Ghz and 3.75Ghz stable :) :bleh:

And u used a CM600w using an OC'ed Q9450 and a 8800GTS before??? :O

Congrats for that feat!!! :ohyeah:

Hw about the SLI using the same PSU??? :D

:rofl: lol i have TX750w coming tomorrow , that will be used for SLI :ohyeah:
but the 3.75Ghz i got is on CM600w and 7200gs :rofl:
