Graphic Cards Query regd buying HD4670

BTW I just suggest you to play GTA4 and want a feedback from you.. As i said earlier it used to run smoother in this rig - e2180 @ 3.0GHz , 4GB DDR2,HIS HD4670 512MB GDDR3..Aint that look cool... ;)
 
mine resolution is 1600x900 so game wont be looking any good will check if any friends have it and will tell you.

I saw another video where a guy played the GTA4 @ 1600x900 at high settings, with shadows at 0 and some other setting at 30. He got steady 25+ fps still playable.

Why dont you search it in youtube. He demonstrate it clearly.
 
How do you verify the size of the monitor when watching YOUtube demo?

I am sure the size of the screen matters as the GPU requirement goes up in direct proportion to the screen size even when the other parameters remain the same ?

Only some monitors display the model number in the front panel.

In fact I am using Viewsonic 2235WM-5 but the model number is not displayed anywhere in the front panel. It is put on a plate only behind the Panel

Please remove your blinkers and see the whole picture and not only what you want to see
 
saw the video on youtube. just not convinced to take the cost of downloading or buying. will wait till my friend gives it to me . then will tell you abut the FPS i got on GTA IV.
 
Installed burnout paradise and played on high settings. No lag whatso ever. Did not any benching options. But was better than gameplay video seen on youtube.
 
I bought the ati radeon 4670 1gb card,and god am i satisfied...Superb Performance

paired up with core 2 quad,its simply great

Yup, Burnout paradise didn't stress GPU a lot until you turn on the SSAO.

I ran it with this config :

P4 @ 3.7GHz

2GB

7600GS 256MB DDR2

It ran on 1024x768 @ high settings and gave me steady 30+ fps..:ohyeah:

So just run some better games like Crysis,Shift....

Yeah, it will not disappoint. i am playing Saints Row 2 @ high settings with 8XAA, 4xAF..... Even at that settings game looks like a sh1t..:@ :rofl:

Man i am playing GTA 4 @ high settings with shadow quality at 7 and rest at 50 at 1440x900, and still getting steady 30 fps.... Hope the 1GB works here... :D

Nope, its my uncles one. he just dont need a 19" so we exchanged.... BTW man, no lagging at all. So just play the game man...

Ya will try for sure. Let me get hold of my friend. He himself offered me that game along with nfs shift but he seems to be too busy nowadays. Will definitely play gta 4 now.
