Question on registering with Ebay India

Hi

I am going to register in ebay for first time (wanted to buy xbox 360) but am little skeptical using my real name online ,

so wanted to use my home name but I am confused thinking that if in case delivery guy ask for id proof .

here lot of guys buying from ebay . do you all use your real name on ebay ?

and do courier guy ask for any id proof before handing over ?

Use the name you like for id and specify a name and address where a courier can reach you, don't be paranoid. If you don't trust Ebay be more careful with your payment option, use paisapay.

ID is required only when you collect packages from the courier offices..

I do get many orders with strange names, but i ship them anyways it doesn't makes any difference.

and also on a side note.. you can't make many ebay account with same name ..
 
Thank you guys for suggestion but still little confused

i think initially i will open account on my home name (no official) and order smaller amount items and will see how it goes , and yes will always use paisapay .
 
You can have the ID anything you want, the courier guy doesnt ask for id proof(atleast in my case never asked), you have to enter the real name if you purchase, but its not shown to anyone outside

Also Paisapay is the safest option while next is COD
