ughhh umm. sorry for bringing this topic again... but earlier i had posted earlier asking the best PC configuratins ... well ive almost made up my mind on wt all to buy... but i still have a few questions... .
firstly....i m considering any one of these 3 mobos...
ASUS A8N-VM CSM ---(6150chipset with loads of features???);)
MSI RS482M2-IL - (considering this board only coz it has ATI chip else i want to go with the above or the one bleow):(
DFI Lanparty Nforce4 Ultra mobo --- (good for overclocking eh?):cool2:
the first 2 boards i m considering coz they have onboard grafics which i might need somewhere down the road... but these arent too flexible and totally crammed up as ive read .. so the only logical option is the DFI mobo.. now this wts eben bothring me...i m planning to get one of my friends in US to send my the SHAPPIRE X1900XT :ohyeah: so if i use this monstor of a card on the Nforce 4 motherboards will i get a performance hit???? coz ive heard some of my friends say that Nforce4 mobos can only support 7xxx or 6xxx nvidia cards and ATI cards tend to fail on them :S ??? any truth in this comment???
or is there a better option available form ATI chipset as well please keep in mind i wont be going SLI or crossfire ....(i read somewhre about some R580 mobos comming soon ... so any news on that how soon in india... but i cant wait :S )
oh almost forgot... ive decided to buy a new monitor.... so kindly suggest a good monitor (considering CRT as for TFT monitors that can support 1600x1200 in my opinion prices are still tooooo high not to mention the response time) so that i can use that X1900XT to its full advantage in terms of resolution......

also any comments on my choise of PSU and CASE ...
Antec P180 Cabinet + Antec True Power 2 550 Watts .....

i also asked my firend to send a proccy from there as well but hes saying itll be too much shipping and complicated and proccys are better purchased locally ...

I use a DFI NF3 board and an ATI card. No issues! Get the lanparty if you want to overclock and if you are reasonably tech savvy.

yep there are no issues with NF4 boards and ATI cards. Its all just myth.

ATI cards work perfectly on Nvidia chipsets and NV cards work perfectly with ATI chipset. No issues there.
