Monitors Question regarding a 19 inches LCD Monitor.

My Dell XPS has 185cd/m2 brightness and its more than enough for games. However in the case of a desktop, you'd probably need a bit more as it'll be farther away from you than a laptop screen. I think 250cd/m2 is enuf though.

How is the ViewSonic VA2012wb 20.1" widescreen LCD? as it available here according to its distributor Roop.

Is 600:1 contrast ratio good to?

i think it's enough. infact if you read the newegg reviews people say that it's too bright but that's a good thing (sorry for the late reply).

somehow, i hate the ARs above 5:4 like 16:10 etc. the game screen becomes quite broad. i like 4:3 but LCDs dont come in that at acceptable rates.

See if vp191b is available anywhere. It is no longer being produced. It could be cheaper though. vp930 is the improved version of vp191b
