Couple of questions for you guys -

(1). Due to budget limitations, which is better to game at 16xx resolution,
X4 620 + 4850 (or) X3 720 BE + 9800 GT (or) X4 955 BE + 9600 gt/4670
I understand that some games are optimized for multicores, while others aren't. Nevertheless opinions are welcome. Also assuming, I shall upgrade proccy to a 6 core, lets say 2 years from now.

(2). Would a 5870/5890 fit in a CM 331/334/335 cabinet.
Anyone who has one working at the moment?
If not, is a CM 590 minimum needed now, for future purposes?

Cheers
V

Oops sorry i didn't carefully read the 1st line in 2nd questions:S
About 5870/5890 fitting in a CM 331/334/335 cabinet won't be possible may 5870 but 5890 never have a look

331

590.jpg
590

X2 550 + 4850

4850 X2 (11.5") is the biggest card you can buy, U can fit any card upto 12.2" in Elite series. But it will block the HDD location.

Thanks guys for the replies :hap2:
Guess that puts things in perspective.

CM 590 is the way to go, unless someone can suggest something cheaper, reason being I would like to go for a 5890 maybe like a year-year and a half from now.
