Quick Review: Glacialtech Coolers

I am not sure how many of you guys are familiar with the name "Glacialtech", I was not, atleast few months back. So when someone from their side approached me to review their coolers I was kind of taken by surprise. Personally, I had to make a choice of typing/posting more OR just stick to my one off posts format. :P
Anyways I gave in after sometime and decided to take a look at those coolers. So it arrived in a DHL box from Taiwan one fine day, and idiotic custom people charged me with Rs800 for that.
The package content was:

Glacialtech Igloo 5057 E [Quiet]

Glacialtech Igloo 5610 PWM
Here is a quick take on those coolers along with Intel's stock cooler that came with E2140.
Processor: Intel Pentium E2140 overclocked to 2.16GHz [266*8, Stock VCORE]

Motherboard: Gigabyte P35-DS3R [F6 Bios]

Memory: 2GB Crucial Ballistix PC8000

Graphics Card: Inno3D 8800GTS 640MB OC edition

Hard drive: WD 80GB

PSU: Silverstone Zeus 750W

Thermal Interface Material: Anabond Heat sink compound
Note: All tests were done in a non-air-conditioned room with temps around 32C and on an open bench format; no other fan was used to cool motherboard or RAM during this test.

As for pictures my parents are out of town and my Digi cam is with them. :(
Igloo 5610 PWM [the only High Res image I could manage to get :shakehead:]

Quick Test results:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Stock Intel Cooler
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Delta = Load1 - Idle Temperature1 = 21°C

Delta = Load2 - Idle Temperature2 = 20°C
About the Cooler: What one can say, it’s the stock intel cooler that few of us never use it.

Glacialtech Igloo 5057 [E]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Delta = Load1 - Idle Temperature1 = 21°C
Delta = Load2 - Idle Temperature2 = 22°C
About the Cooler: It’s very easy to install as it uses same push clip mechanism used for stock coolers by Intel. 80mm Fan has a 3 pin connector and pushes decent amount of air to get bit better results. As to fan noise I don’t have equipment to test it, but I found it to be bit less noisy then Intel’s stock cooler.
Glacialtech Igloo 5610 [PWM]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

[PWM ON]

Delta = Load1 - Idle Temperature1 = 21°C

Delta = Load2 - Idle Temperature2 = 22°C

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[PWM OFF]
Delta = Load1 - Idle Temperature1 = 18°C
Delta = Load2 - Idle Temperature2 = 17°C
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
About the Cooler: Glacialtech 5610-PWM cooler is based on now almost common dual pipe design. It comes with a back plate for mounting cooler, meaning you have to remove your motherboard from case. It has 4 screws to fasten it properly. Nice simple design is still effective and Glacialtech 5610-PWM is a moderate performer I would say. With PWM disabled I found fan to be rather noisy and I don’t need proper equipment to prove it. It performs well for its small design with or without PWM :)
Here is the info for Disti:

himanshujain@gmail.com Yeah dats all I have on them as of now!! :no:
P.S: Don't go bashing me for lack of pictures guys.

Nice Review, but needed more comparisons...
Also a 7-8 degree drop in load temp doesn't justify buying this cooler. What we need is a product like TRUE120 (temp dropped by 25 degree on load wrt stock) or a rightly priced cooler that gives a substantial temp drop w.r.t. intel stock cooler.

Yeah but then TRUE cant fit in the price range of Rs. 800-1500. Can it?
You guy need to understand that this coolers are coming from a company which has a wdie range of products but its for certain markets, in this case its for price conscious markets.
