Graphic Cards Radeon HD 3300 or Sparkle Nvidia 9500 GT

Hi friends I hav Radion HD 3300(on board graphics with 128 mb(Bio star ta 790 gx 128 m)) and a 9500 gt. which one is better(On board or this 9500 GT)? which is the equivallent Nvidia when compairing with Radion HD 3300?

What's the ATI equivalent of a 9500GT in terms of gaming performance? :)

And it's the 9500GT 256MB DDR3 one that's supposedly better than a 8600GT 256MB DDR3 and around the same price point?

Where does the DDR2 9500GT slot itself into? :)

abt the second query
9500 gt is better than 8600gt on stock + it can be overclocked better

The ladder should be like HD 2600XT DDR3 < HD 2600XT DDR4 < 8600GT 512 ddr3.. :)
 
Get a used but not too old 9600GT/HD4670 with local warranty for 3K odd- pwns all in that list except themselves. :P

But actually, no one asked this yet.

What is your plan/intended use knairkuttan? :)

Seriously, 4670 is such a fantastic card.

It is unbeatable price/performance card and still I suggest it to anyone who mostly lives in real world, does real jobs, is not a hardcore techie, play games occasional but want a decent graphics card.

PS: @bikey: 9500GT DDR3 is faster than 3650 but slower than 4650

Having tried both, i think those who are bit gaming-oriented, will prefer the 9600GT 512MB DDR3.

And the more movie-oriented peeps will prefer the HD4670.

There maybe lower cards that may do the job, atleast for HTPC users, but i don't like things that just about take care of things.

A little more please. :P

What really saddens me is that nVidia chooses not to have a 2D profile for cards lower than GTX260.

Even the 6600GT had it iirc.

For that reason, i prefer the HD4670 over the 9600GT for a general purpose rig on a tight budget. :)
