Well in one of there interview nvidia official said they wanted to please enthu-segment w/ one huge gpu which in there opinion is more bada§§... And what amd-ati is not capable of ,funds-wise..!

Oh yeh... I remember reading that one. its was more like, AMD doesn't have funds or experience in designing great GPUs like nVidia.

I'm sure that guy was diagnosed for foot-in-the-mouth disease later when 4800 series kicked in. :rofl:

man i am fed up of lies now ATi is justing messing with graphs to get a lead and how the **** can it be leaked. i wonder they dont make graphs like this to be leaked just like that.
that card can be good but not like wat they have shown in th pic exactly

if the graph starts from 0.8 for Y-axis for 'ALL' the contents on the graph...then how can it be called a lie?
i do not consider it misleading or misrepresented as the scale is mentioned on the graph.

for the COD4, the graph shows

a)2 units along Y-axis for 8800gt
b)3.5 units along Y-axis for ATi4830

now if 9800gt is trailing ATi4830 by 15%, then it should have been shown with
2.975 units along Y-axis. but it has been shown with just 2 units!
now 2 is what % of 3.5? ans= 57.14% which means 9800gt is lagging behind the ATI4830 by a whopping 42.88%!

i rest my case.

n this is what u call misleading (if it wasnt humour )

all he took in2 consideration was the units above the axis...bt the axis itself starts from 9the unit.

HD4830 returned only 15% extra frame than 9800GT for that matter.

guess redesigning the chips from scratch has eventually favoured the red camp... finally something to dethrone the 8800s
