Graphic Cards Radeon HD 4830 (RV770LE) Launch In October

AMD is preparing to launch the RV770LE card in October and it will be officially known as Radeon HD 4830. This card will be built by AIBs themselves and it is targeted at the GeForce 9800GT and 9600GT segment. RV770LE is known to have 480 stream processors and expected to be clocked differently by each AIB.

Nvidia is doomed for 1yr minimum, they cant drop price any further also, G92 is 256bit, complex GPU, not cheap to make.

supposedly, unlike the gtx2x0 price drops. they dint protect pricing for the channel partners in the recent 96/95 price drops.. that too considering that the sub 100usd market is for high volumes nd low margins as it is, they must be having some really pissed partners

^ the 95/96 series price drops i mentioned are from a coupla weeks back. i think you are referring to the talks of EVGA signing up with ATI nd stuff..
