@Rahul , seriously ? Warranty MEANS that the product will be replaced free of cost or repaired , not another second hand earphone bought from the net .

y do u guys just want me to pay the full amount or a brand new product only service centers can give repaired goods too here this will not even be repaired.

omg is he a newbie dealer :P .. you sold the product to him and replace .. him the value that was written on the bill provided by you .. and because the product is under warranty YOU NOOB :P

But neither can be done as there is not service center to repair nor this can be replaced with another PL30 as we have no stock.

Hence this should be an optimal solution for both of us and he will get this free of cost only and it will have everything that he wants in it

I am liable for replacement so replacement is being done tomm u go to a service center with ur bad , mobo , graphic card anything as far as they give u a working replacement for it with the same amount of warranty and free of cost remaining then it is correct

What ego issue man? i don't have SM products anymore to give if i would i really would have done that without any problems

What is wrong in this? - I am liable for replacement so replacement is being done tomm u go to a service center with ur bad , mobo , graphic card or anything as far as they give u a working replacement for it with the same amount of warranty and free of cost remaining then it is correct

if it cant be rapired & if the product is not in stock .. service centres give high end model than yours !!! not any second hand piece !!!

Wait, just understand this - we're not pressuring you or anything just trying to talk sense into you. Please don't take it to mean "OMG all of TE and other forums ganging up on me, I'll not yield"

For the emboldened part, shouldn't that have been considered when you offered him a warranty in the first place when buying? Or are you saying you never used the word warranty for any period in any way there?

When something is NOT in stock anymore you can offer a replacement product of equal value (no, not the depreciated value.. that's just not done under 'warranty' by any seller. If someone does that within warranty it's just him being an unscrupulous seller). And if you have no equivalent product (at the price of the product when it was first bought by the buyer from you) then there's always one thing with which you can replace it - 'cash' is always in stock. I don't get why you won't see this simple logic.

The heart of the matter is your inability to understand/acknowledge that the basic concept of warranty is that the 'value' of a product remains constant for purposes of replacement/reimbursement in case of failure of the item bought to perform properly within the warranty period. For eg. if I'm buying a PS3 and it fails within one year and sony has no facilities to service the product here, they 'replace' it for free with a different PS3 with a new one. If your PS3 is OUT OF WARRANTY then they make you pay half the price to get a new one.

Once his warranty period is over, you can refuse replacement, but certainly not within the warranty period.

But replacement is being given , the product is in working condition and has the same amount of warranty left and its free of charge to the buyer this is what one of the members suggested to do and i think its a solution to this problem too.

if thats done between you and your customer its fine ... .. .. ..

else if the user wants he can use that product till the new stock comes .. then he gets BRAND NEW PIECE

but i dont think he's gonna cry for that .. your doing this .. that itself is a big achievment for him !!!

This is my last post in this thread and here is what i have to say,

Since the product is not there in stock with us and nor can we replace the same with a new one or a higher model as we don't have any earphones from soundmagic anymore nor are going to get anymore of them so

Here are the 2 options that we can offer to the buyer

1 - Take a credit note or cash Rs. 600/- or 650/- (Including your shipping charges if u don't want us to ship them back to you) as according to our Rules which were before hand mentioned on our site if a product is not available we can talk to the buyer and can settle the same to a mutually agreed value and not the Full Value of the product when it was bought 7 Months back.

2 - We or he arranges a PL30 in 600 bucks with 5-6 months of Warranty left so that the buyer gets a replacement which is working and has a warranty of 5-6 months left and we will pay 600/- Rs. so that the replacement will be at no cost to the buyer.

you guys are just banging your head on a concrete wall , give it up folks , he wont get it , just move on and spread the word ...this thread is not even funny anymore

Yeah... spreading the word is already happening. I just don't get why he thinks adding 200 rupees to his initial offer for 'compensation' will make any difference whatsoever to his customer's righteous indignation.

Now

1) You seller people will judge the depreciation rate and price.

God knows what parameters you use to keep your profit levels in the front.

2) Mutually Agreed ?? How is it MUTUAL ?

More like the price we gonna shove down your throat.

I'm about to face a situation here guys, similar to this one. My Asus 5870 just conked off. Been with Rashi since a Month. They say it has reached EOL and will let me know what they will do tomorrow.

Any advice of what I should do and/or expect from them?

COINCIDENTALLY (no pun intended) I bought this from Rahul.

PS: I think this thread has gone way too long than it should have been allowed to.

Another PS: I think I made a mistake when I took the CC from Tirupati for my EVGA 280GTX. Lost 10k in a year. Wonder why I didn't create a thread then.

Fine i do what you guys want and exactly the way a distributor should do according to you read below
3 - Buy any product that we distribute Arctic Cooling / Noctua / Rantopad / Lian Li / GSKill and we will give you the Full Value of your product (Less Taxes) plus Full Warranty on the New Product you buy but request you to get these threads blogs Facebook deleted

I will change the current policy with this one everywhere and this one is 200% correct.

If the policy holds true for others, how do other get a new set of items and not a working replacement ( means used one / repaired ) within warranty period ?

I just wanted to know the difference in methods of executing RMA .

Well Rahul ,
Its As Simple As That ,even If You will Sell Products At Rate To Rate ,These Guys Would Be Thankless .Its Not The Entire TE Member Base but a Small Section Of People who will Leave No Opportunity to do anything to harm any dealer who ever it may be .The system you adopted is exactly the same what all service centers adopt if they have to return cash back to a customer .i am so goddamn happy i left the dealership here it gives me so much peace of mind to concentrate on actual business and my own platform .If techenclave if so fedup with its dealers it should remove the dealer paradise area. But Then what will Be the fun to join TE lol .

@ M-Jeri : You are great boss ,You seem to have a issue with all the dealers of the world lol .Also Posted The Same On My Websites Homepage So That No One Could Delete What i Have Written Lol As God Knows What New rules Come Up On Te suddenly .Mods Actually Get Kicks Out Of These Kind Of Threads .Suddenly You have a rule that says only two people have to solve a issue once i left TE .Today We Have 39 Pages Full Of Crap against Poor Rahul .
