Rapidshare and Megaupload Download speed Enquiry????

Hi friends,

Guys am thinking of getting megaupload and rapidshare account and also upgrading broadband connection 4m BSNL 250 plan to 750UL(256kbps) or 1350UL(512kbps)..

I heard that BSNL having a speed lock on 30kbps (UL750 plan):huh: while using rapidshare or megaupload Premium account...

Is that true?????

No its rubbish , there is no such thing , you will easily max out your connection with both megaupload and rapidshare premiums

The link mentions 30 kBps which is what you should get . When i was using MTNL's 256 kbps i got only 28-29 kBps

ITs not speed lock for rapidshare or megaupload its a speedlock for your connection no matter where you download from.

I really don't know how the hell you are expecting more. Its just 2 kilobyte per second less than what you should get as you have bought 256 kilobits per second plan.

I hope that make sense, or you were thinking you'll get 256 kilo bytes per second ..for that you need to buy 2048 kilo bytes per second connection or 2 Megabits per seconnd connection.

p.s. can we have seconds of silence now please

just divide your speed like 512 by 8 the answer would be max you can get & it can be -+ 10-15% up/down.
