Graphic Cards Rashi Launches Next Years Technology today - XFX GF 7800 GTX 512 MB

Oh yes, i have used all manufactures that are there to use in india.

Right now i have 7800GT from XFX, Before this I had Gigabyte 6600GT( my personal preference , love their built quality and components), before that i had evga 6800GT which i have sold to Daviescool here. Before that i had xfx 5900U which went bad and i replaced it with Leadtek by newegg back then as XFX was out of stock, unfortunately it too went bad and i ended up with evga 5900U.

had used Gigabyte, powercolor and Club3d ATI cards as well.

If i am given choice of brands, for Nvidia, i will pickup whatever is cheaper except BIG brand, and not for their cards but for their support.

For ATI on other hand you need to be picky abou tthe brand. For Nvidia it hardly matters, this is not what only I am saying. This is what every reputed press has said including AT, guru3d.

In India XFX has large dealer network setup through rashi. Zebronics network is no where as big and so availability and warranty support suffers. I take risks. Not everyone does. Its preety safe here to invest in XFX, warranty service is not bad. On the other hand i could not find Gigabyte or Leadtek 7800GT in stock anywhere here. So what to do? not to buy XFX?????

I had to source simple Zebronics PSU from chennai throught you. This is the position here in city like mumbai.

In the end user will purchase whats cheap and had good warranty service in India. not everyone will pay premium for brands like ASUS and MSI when quality components from other manufacturers are available more easily.
 
Not talking about everyone......well people could jump in a well would you.....??

I prefer quality stuff inside my cabinets....inside my house....etc..etc...so I go with these cards...

And its not whether u will go for MSI or not, its whether u can afford to......(read asus, gigabyte etc).......

Same thing for memory....I see some einstein's going for 7800's and pickin up value ram from hynix.....like running an NSX on kerosene (for crying out loud).....

I agree with you that most dealers here have problems with networks and warranties.....but we try darn hard......I myself am cooking up something special in my little lab.... (well if it cooks pooh...else I'll share it with u all)....

And how is that PSU going btw.....why didn't u go Antec??

Well, first of all, I do not have an XFX card.

If you go back to TT and read some of my older posts, I have always recommended stuff other than XFx because at that time, they were not among the best.

But today, they are definitely better and I have seen some people here on TE who have done amazing stuff with XFX cards.

Why is it that you HAVE to insult people on TE?? Why is it that you cannot accpet another person's view and just leave it?? Everybody in this world have different opinions. This does not mean that you can go around abusing people.

And here, you have made a personal attack on Chaos who is one of the highly respected members of Te. You better watch your mouth pal. Otherwise you will be banned(I hope so) or if we are unlucky, you could be warned.

And be assured... no one on this forum would actually cry over that.
 
Vandal since you have so much knowledge about the Gfx cards you must be knowing that in the begining every company(and yes every company) buys the reference boards from nVIDIA... Put a sticker on the Card and sell it as it is not easy to manufacture and put the cards on shelf as soon as it is lauched... So if you get your hands on any of the first cards grab them cause most probably they will be made by Nvidia only... It is only on a later stage that the big brands start manufacturing thier own cards from thier fab... I can give you a lots of examples from the GF6 series...

Coming on to the quality of the components... Well i will rate XFX as the best and yes i mean the best brand when we talk about inida... WHY for the simple reasone thier sheer presence and stocks... MSI just get handful of cards and sell them and if any one of them goes kaput for are in for a big ride... None of the distris stocks the cards forget about dealers... And same is with gainward... Hell Gainward i have not been able to spot any high end card in Delhi... To become a good brand you have be available first... Prices comes much later... And dont even get me started on the zebronics... I asked them for a PSU few days back and to my surprise they dont even have a dealer in Delhi...

Also i am not a mod but stop calling names or stuff... You may have high end stuff but to my knowledge you are nothing but just a wanna be geek who doesnt even know that pairing those cards with AMD's will get you best framerates and not with Intels...
 
Anyway i dont think MSI charges as much a premium like Asus , and all brands have had their share of bad batches of certain models barring Asus , Asus i feel is rock solid, whenever, whereever.

Also the P4 660 is used for vid encoding, and @ the time I had the cash for the rig dual core wasn't out.....

Now as far as high end stuff goes (another personal attack mind u).....at least we agree....See pal....we have different priorities......I love gaming...always have...maybe always will..... but don't get enough time....I mean I have 4 comps (well 3 1/2 anyway) and I can only use 1....I game 2-3 hours daily maybe 6-7 hrs on sunday...work 50 hrs a week....(gaming sessions are mostly nightly) so my red eyes after 3-4 hrs sleep prove the gamer part...

Will tell u something that'll make u laugh.....back home (Oh I'm from Jabalpur in MP)...my dad uses the 660 (when its not encoding) for listening to music and the net....

And seriously... I know why your dad uses that comp... Probably cause you were dumb enough to suggest him that config for doing that job... Its natural to figure that out watching you act here on the forums like a kid...

And i wont mind the gifts though... I will wait for the time when you leave... Lets see you are man enough to gift me those parts...

P.S. In the enire post you havent quoted anything on the real issue itself... I will love read your comments on that... Bragging about comut parts is not my hobby... Gaming definately is... What a gamer needs is a card which works...

switch ....firstly I bought that comp before I moved to Chennai, was in Mumbai @ that time....I then left the comp @ home as I had returned there.....

PS My dad uses it for the net, music etc....its my bro who does vid editing @ home.....he has 2 others our shop which are also used for vid editing....

And as for being a fool......well keep your words soft......your advice.....follow it!!!

well I could gift u the FX5700......but can spare it only in April-May (P3 is going to go) cause the AMD will be complete in april only....so it may be a belated gift....
