I had a xfx 8800GT alpha dog edition which was having overheating problem!. Rashi replaced it wid 88GT alpha dog extreme (OC editon) which made me happy :) , but later i realised that the replaced card was also faulty...the VRAM was corrupt. I again took it to rashi for RMA and within a week they gave me a brand new 8800GT alpha dog. but when i went home and tried the card for 1st time , i was getting corrupt VRAM artifacts. I took the brand new faulty card very next day to rashi when i was told that the capacitor was missing. They claimed it as physical damage due to customer's fault, which they cant RMA. i was like WTF?? i am bringin you the card very next day after u RMA it. I was sure that it was not my fault. They didnt listen to me and told me to buy a new card :( .I mailed to rashi, head of rashi; ashok goenka, head of PINEGROUP; Cyrus To to email me their postal address for me to lodge a complaint against them in consumer court, still not replies. I am getting a new card from, sapphire ATi 5850. I can afford same card from xfx n asus which looks very cool than sapphire but to avoid rashi i am getting a sapphire card. Rashi Peripherals SUXX, Aditya Info. FTW!!
 
u have alpha dog edition xxx version with extra core

so how long to rma the same card and how many time did your rma it :|

so u need your give argument to rashi for exchange better card and if u need update but u need your paid cash for ati 5850 xfx one ;)

p.s everyone know rashi suck long back since 3.5 year ago :P
 
ya i know it suxx since i bought my xfx card. ie 2yrs ago. Juz wanted to add more to it so shared with u guys :P And talking about cash i have it in hand rite now for my new card as i am not counting on rashi. God knows when ill be compensated after legal actions :huh:

i also had the same problem,i too had the same 8800GT Alpha dog edition and the card suddenly stopped working,i found out a PCB was burnt,i took to them.they said it doesnt come under RMA and they will need 2 send to singapore with 90 days lead time,if they are not able to repair i will not get by card back

i lost hopes of getting the card back...next card if u plan to buy go for sapphire which has good after support,also make sure that you have proper ventialtion and cooling fans to cool your PC...
 
@ njraman, they were right. burning doesnt come under RMA policy. I burnt my corsair 8gb flash drive which wasnt RMAed , same with my seagate hard drive.

yes msi is good. one of best cards for for overclocking. But for ATi sapphire is good.
 
RAshi have bad reputation if u dig ull see ton of topics...

Its better u file consumer case as i see this happening more often or just inform media about their job
 
Rashi is in the habit of using various tactics to deny RMA to the customers. The least of them is to simply try your patience and see if you give up on the RMA after a month or two. The worst of them is to do some physical damage on the product you submitted and deny then RMA when you subsequently call them for an update. Alternatively they have also been known to hand you a physically damaged/non working products as a replacements and then deny any further replacement.

Time and again I have heard these reports about Rashi from friends, dealers and forum members, So be careful when dealing with Rashi. Always take a closeup photograph of you motherboard/graphics card/whatever product from all sides and let them know subtly that you have proof of physical condition of the product before you hand it over to them for RMA.

in that condition they can said that you catch photo in advance or on the day you purchased it & letter while installing or due to mishandling the product get physical damaged :( you can't top person who set to deny you :(

PS: You can do one thing, Catch picture of product in-front of company executive, take company seal & persons signature on same snaps with date. But I 99.99% sure NO ONE will ready for.

Me and a friend of mine had a burnt board rejected by Rashi too. We took a picture board before sending it to Rashi(via PRIME) but when it came back it had 2 burnt capacitors(near CPU PWM) and they told me that the board is burnt and not covered under warranty. In reality the board was burnt by us, but we pulled the plug as soon as we smelt something burning:ashamed: BUT THERE WAS NO SIGN OF BURNING ON THE ENTIRE BOARD(we checked everything using a magnifying glass) so we cleaned the board and gave it to Prime.
The problem is that I'd given the board to Prime and they gave it to Rashi so I don't know who the real culprit was :huh:.
Nyways the guy who's board went bad was already in a hurry to upgrade his setup so this gave him another bahana to go for a upgrade.

I have a few friends who are so angry with Rashi that they even assembled a squad of Gundas(friends) to beat each and every person working at Rashi(especially the guy working at GFX cards section). It didn't go as planned as they were caught by Mumbai police and sent outside Mumbai(history charge-sheeters).
 
Even sapphire RMA is bad though they are quick in replacing my graphics card(15 days gave to prime) their replacements are bad. The guy at prime is tellin me that they give only refurbish (aka rubbish) cards during RMA i dont know if its true.And the card which i got back was defective.Thank God i told the prime guy to check it right there to make sure that its workin. At first it showed artifacts and at the next boot the card "just gave up on life".the prime guy told me that the ppl at aditya infotech did not chck the card before sendin it.
IS IT TRUE THAT ADITYA INFOTECH DOES NOT GIVE NEW CARDS AS REPLACEMENTS(SAPPHIRE HD 4670)

thanx guys for sharing your issues with me. I am gonna make copies of these and take it to rashi as a proof of their harassment to customers. If there any any other thread discussing this then plz post der links :D

Post this there.. that should hurt. Rashi needs to be kicked by them and how !
Also if XFX has forums then it wouldn't hurt to post this there too :)
And it you really want to hurt them then also post this on the Asus Facebook page too..
You can put those links here and im sure people here will back you up and post replies that state the obvious truth that Rashi Sucks.

asus boards r awesome, me too usin same. but avoid it because u dont want to face rashi cocksuckers wen u need to RMA.
