Days after hosting its first global smartphone launch in India, Chinese smart devices-maker Xiaomi has announced that Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, has made an investment in the company.

The news was first shared by Hugo Barra, vice president of international for Xiaomi and the company's official Indian accounts on social networks.

Smart investment considering the fact that Xiaomi bubble will last a few years unless we reach saturation.

Mere 20 Crores.. in 10 Firms.. (10Crores alone in Snapdeal) These companies were posing as if they got 10's of crores.. Used Tata's name to gather attention and for raising valuations. Not faulting Ratan Tata but these companies..

LOL these investments are very small. The space they get in newspapers is probably worth 10 times more. They're just hyped for no reason at all other than his mass goodwill.
