District 9 - 9/10

Also in the end... disappearance of Wikus, promise to return by Christopher and mention of D10 were clear signal about probable sequel. :)

Just saw District 9, I'd rate it a 9/10 as well.

I don't think Wikus disappeared, in the last scene, they show one of the aliens digging through the scrapyard and pick up that flower (or whatever that was), that was Wikus, since that incident took place quite sometime after the mother ship left earth.

^Wow now that's a rating for sure!

The Bone Collector - 9/10.

Worth a watch. The last 10 minutes were awesome as far as a thriller goes!

^ Damn... that reminds me, I've had that movie now for quite sometime and not gotten around to watching it.

Saw Double Indemnity again last evening. :cool2:

Agreed BUT :

Cris will come and "FIX" him ! That'll be something ! Reminds me of PROTOTYPE

Rating : 9.5/10 [ .5 for not having an end credit scene :P ]

Nadodigal was a good movie, especially in the first half.

Pasanga was even better. It is a must-watch movie.

Watched Troy on HBO tonight. Don't know how I missed this one till now. Excellent movie. 8/10.

He's just not that into you - 6/10

While it's not that bad in itself... you just can't help compare it with it's supposedly inspiration source, british "Love Actually", and that's where things start going wrong. In my opinion, Love Actually is much more brilliant flick compare to HJNTIY. It's one of my top xmas movies.

The problem is, here characters fail to involve you emotionally unlike Love Actually. Almost after every 10-15 mins, I found myself going through following thoughts.. "pyscho beeyoch", "what's wrong with these girls", "wtf... these guys need therapy". Being crazy and doing crazy things in love is understood... but there's nothing in this movie that justify on "crazy-in-love" criteria.

In the end, my friend asked... "can you really believe these girls?"... I said, "Of-course, those are americans"... that about sums it up. :P
