UP - 10/10

Pixar just outdone themselves... I was anxious to see what they would do after the awesome Wall-E, but UP really ups the ante. If this movie doesn't melt your heart then you have to be one stone-hearted devil. And it does all that to your emotions without being over-the-top or preachy in any way... the emotions are so subtle, sublime that it's hard to believe that animated characters can act so well.

Go and watch UP, and go and watch it in big screen... this movie deserves it. :)

I wanted to watch UP in 3D, but unfortunately the theater I went to wasn't screening in 3D. But I wanted to watch it anyway and so I did. I'm so glad that I didn't wait for some other time to watch it in 3D. I may even watch it again, in 3D.

Bad Lieutenant 9 out of 10

Harvey Keitel is just awesome as Lieutenant (One the most depressing anti hero character I've ever seen on a silver screen)

(@roadrippersid-I guess She's the Man is dealing with Soccer)

Up 8/10

I had heard a lot about this movie long back and have been hearing about it quite often after that. I was really eager to watch this movie and finally got a chance today.

TBH, I was a little bit disappointed, maybe the hype kinda killed it for me.

The animation was great as always by Pixar, but what really stands out is how the animated characters 'act'. The voice acting for the kid was really awesome. The story was nice.

But I think Wall-E was better than this. However, Up was definitely good as well and certainly worth a watch.

BTW I watched it in 3D. It didn't really have much effects, so I don't think you would miss out much on normal screen. The thing was that the glasses given by the theater had smudges all over it and it was a bit annoying to watch through them.

Wanted -6/10-had watched the Telugu original POKHRI...though i really don't understand Telugu per see...but we can make out what's happening...and i guess that was a much much better made movie....but that's a personal view i guess. Someone watching wanted the first time..the impact might be better!!!

wanted 9/10.
Salman Rocks. With first week collections of over 40 crores looks like it will surpass Ghajini as India's all time biggest Grosser and if we add the fact that it was released with DBH the YashRaj movie (while Ghajini was released with no other big movie) this success has been astonishing.

Death Sentence - 6.5/10

Kevin Bacon carries the movie all the way. Despite the typical cliche laden plot, the treatment of the movie and the direction was good... at least more than half movie. In the last 30-40 mins, the movie takes typical turn and turns into regular bollywood revenge flick. Not that it's really bad or not enjoyable, but I believe the the director could have carried the brilliance that he showed in the first hour and few mins. Frankly when you think of the overall movie, the plot is the weakest yet it's worth watching for first hour or so and enjoy the typical action in the end. Most importantly, watch it for Kevin Bacon. He carries his character so well, that all other characters, even though pretty weak, manage to stay as part of the story.

Hitman - 8/10.... Agent 47 should have been a bit more muscular, not much though !

Shoot them up - 9.5/10 .....Loved the shooting action...though sometime looked really funny ! :P
