Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Am I the only one who found ZNMD to be a pretty lame movie :ashamed: . Wouldn't rate it more than 5/10 .

Hritik's acting was horrible and his coloured hair flying in the air during the close-ups was gay ! Abhay Deol's talent was wasted to some extent, somehow didn't completely fit into the character , especially the comic scenes.He is best with more serious roles or the one's like Oye Lucky, IMO . Farhan Akhtar was the only one who seemed to have been carried of the role very naturally. Katrina was as usual beautiful and a little improved on acting .

Overall I found the movie to be a bit stretched with no proper story-line , there were times I just wanted it to end. Also a lot of amazing scenes in the movie felt like I was watching a mixed of Discovery + Nat geo with the beautiful landscapes of Spain , the sky diving ,scuba-diving etc.
 
^^ Agreed to a great extent. The storyline is not convincing enough. Three individuals are supposed to be on a bachelor trip which in turn becomes a series of life changing events. But the viewer never feels that.

The underwater scenes were practically ruined by Katrina Kaif, I was hoping for more fishies and underwater beauty.

Agreed about the casting part, characters were written keeping two other actors in mind, slightly pansy acting required. Then you take 3 menly men and make them pull off pansy jokes. Hmmm..

And when will Hrithik Roshan stop dancing ? When ?

Compared to the Wanteds..and SRK movies this is comparatively better, so can't say it's bad but revising my rating to 6.0 (Decent) from 7.0 (Very Good) ;)

Pyaar ka Punchnama 9/10

Great movie. Nice acting, dialogues and story.

Delhi Belly 8/10

Nice fun movie. Its like Indian version of the hangover. Quite enjoyable
 
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara - thankfully good films can still be made without having to resort to references to all the mothers and sisters of the world
 
The Secret of Kells - 8/10

Extremely colorful and beautiful animation movie. The drawn sceneries are simply artistic. The story is quite simle too. Must have been made for small kids.

Can be seen with parents, kids and dog too. Most people will enjoy watching it.

Murder 2 (2011) - IMDb - 4 - nothing to talk about

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) - IMDb - 4 - same, nothing to talk about except Farhan's performance.

Finding Neverland (2004) - IMDb - 8 - this is one awesome movie. Depp - just brilliant..

300 (2006) - IMDb - 7 - movie was good.. just that bit disappointed with the ending

The Social Network (2010) - IMDb - 7 - Zuck looks freaky to me.. or is it just me..

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) - IMDb - 8 - awesome movie, loved Janet Colgate...
 
Jaws 1 : 8/10.... good movie from Spielberg

ZNMD :6/10... could have been better, but boring songs and lack of slang ruined it. but still good one time watch.
 
Sinners and Saints: 7/10. Good gritty action, and the hero sports a whoop ass automatic near the end.

Unknown: 9/10

The Human Centipede: Doubt I should rate this. Watch this at your own prerogative. Would suggest you to read about it first. I watched it 14 hours ago. Images are still stuck in my head. Did not sleep well too.

LOL, i watched "A Serbian Film" and "Human Centipede" back to back on the same night and wasnt able to sleep till morning :lol:
