Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

just read about "a Serbian Film" and "human centipede" in the previous page of this thread and immediately went to wiki for a little synopsis and my god the human centipede's concept is just so awful to say the least.and "a Serbian Film" is no less. After reading what wiki said on these films i am not going anywhere near these monstrosities.but a little curious part of my heart is still urging me to take the plunge and watch these god awful shit but i don't want to do anything i would regret. In the words of Tim Anderson - "Bloody Disgusting", "having [his] soul raped" ,and dissuades anyone reading his review from ever seeing it ,writing: "If what I have written here is enough to turn your feelings of wonder into a burning desire to watch this monstrosity, then perhaps I haven't been clear enough. You don't want to see Serbian Film. You just think you do." and as for human centipede the director tom six has started on a sequel - The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) and has promised that it will be even more disgusting and will include all the blood and excretions(MY GOD).Six stated the sequel would be a much more graphic and disturbing film; First Sequence being "My Little Pony compared with part two."

Moon(2009) 9/10

source code 9/10

This was one refreshing movie as sometimes(In INDIA) the Desi Bollywood crap really gets to your head and what you need is a little sci-fi thriller.anyways Duncan Jones is doing such an awesome job.First moon, now Source Code.nowadays directors aren't making many deep sci-fi thrillers with a tinge of mystery we techies crave for, don't we?

Actually this part hardly has that much gore and blood. It is nothing compared to say Saw series. But just the concept, and the final 'image' when the project is completed, is revolting. Sickening.

I did not think HC was any shocking - a very sick idea for sure. But all that is BEFORE you see the film. Here's my view (contains spoilers. I hope you have no plans to see the film, so you can read) - http://www.techenclave.com/general-talk/rate-the-last-movie-you-saw-63501-609.html#post1730824

Serbian Film though is on my "skip list" for now along with "Salo", "Men behind the Sun", "August Underground Mordum", "Guinea Pig" series. Sitting through "Cannibal Holocaust" is as far as I am willing to go for now.

But, in contrast, I liked "Martyrs" and "Inside". No less violence and gore, but they are different.

singham :7.5/10
never wanted to see the movie in the first place because of the file sharing block
but wanted to defy reliance so d'loaded it and watched it :P

@esanthosh: thanks for the list, will watch most of them in a month or two, i dont think any of them can match "A Serbian film" which is the sickest movie ever made.

Singham : 4/5

A typical bollywood action flick with lots of typical bollywood masala. This one is made for the masses. Some dialogs and some scenes are truly legendary. With a full packed theater you are sure to hear lots of ceeties and taalis. Trust me, you are gonna have a blast watching this with friends or family, Full paisa vasool movie. I liked it better than Dabbang. A must watch.

State of Play : 8/10, gr8 one time watch thriller, crime movie. Russel crow, Rachel McAdams and ben affleck have done decent acting.

Fracture : 7/10.... one more good one time watch crime, drama, mystery movie

Breach : 7/10.... having a good run of crime mystery movies here, but sadly all are one time watch only.\

Singham : 4/10 : dont even think of watching this. The story writers are not thinking even a little. I know it was copied from a south movie, but it should be an improvement if its a remake and not dumbed down movie. Utterly Disappointing.

The Priest - 5/10 . Ok Ok Movie.

Thankfully it was better then Legion.

Transformers 2 - 6/10

On the whole Avg Movie. Watched it in 3D in Imax. 3D was also ok, nothing to complain. But the 3D effects were also not used much.

The movie was too long around 150 mins I suppose and with the 3D glasses on, the machine fight through out with the metal noises my head started paining after 90 mins.

Lot of action was waste.

If you see great movies there would be action sequences which would be fixed in your mind like matrix..etc...But here there is both quality, quantity with good effects and CGI but once you come out watching the movie nothing is registered.
