Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Watched 2 mindfcuk movies this weekend, Fight Club and The Others.

I think we should open a separate thread for MindFcuk movies like these and Inception and such.
 
Rio 2 . Great movie with great story . Watched Humshakals with Wife and within 15 minutes she said - Chalo . Wasted time and money both . I wonder what compelled me to watch such a disaster. The jokes are really pathetically foolish . I was there till the joke [Witty] VT - CHURCHGATE came .

RIO - 8/8.5 out of 10
HUMSHAKALS - If lunacy could be given a number,then it gets an infinite from me . Very hard for a sane person to complete the movie.

Its a pity this movie went unnoticed as it really is very very good. As Korean director Bong join ho's maiden English venture, it is a job well done and I hope he makes more English movies.

Im seeing this trend that english movies by lesser known foreign directors are not getting noticed. prisoners did not get nominated in a single category in the oscars although it was jackman's best performance . enemy by same director went unnoticed and now snowpiercer.

Godzilla(2014) - 7/10
Transformers : Age of Extinction - 2/10 - The franchise just killed itself. Pathetic Movie.
 
Transformers 4 - 3/10.

My thoughts on the movie.

- Wahlberg weird and creepy obsession over daughter;
- Product placement
- "Inventor" who has trouble creating a paint machine that moves in one direction, fixes Optimus.
- Don't mess with Texas
- Both Wahlberg/boyfriend seem to ditch the girl and run away at the first sign of danger
- American Flag
- Transformer speaks with Japanese accent, calls Optimus Prime sensei, speaks in Haiku
- More product placement
- Michael bay makes a Ken Block video
- "My face is a warrant."
- Grammer on a mission for humanity and King and country
- There exists a possibility that I watched a Chinese audience cut of the movie.
- Galvatron is Megatron
- Movie entering China, close up of great wall
- I have a bomb, lets take it to one of the most densely populated cities in the world.
- Random Asian guy knows martial arts and beats up a random bad guy.
- American flag
- Megatron takes a cigarette break
- Grammer in it for the money
- Chinese product placement
- Spaceship about to land, gets shot and is knocked into Jurassic Park
- Megatron still on his cigarette break
- Grammer on a mission for humanity and King and country
- Wahlberg holds off Lockdown with a sword/gun that is conveniently located in a alien supermax prison and can harm a transformer and can be fired using a human index finger.
- Optimus takes off like Superman
 
The only good thing (or memorable) thing, H. Deshmukh, has done: marry Genelia. Other wise he is a useless actor, grossly over-acts, and has no timing for comedy, for which he is signed up. Why would someone go to watch a movie, starring him..?
 
some of my friends are praising ek villian cuz it has a different story and these are the same people i ask to watch " the secret in their eyes" or " memories of murder" and they turn a blind eye. i think some people are so set in their ways, they dont wanna give time to exploring something new and hundred times better than uninspired bollywood movies
