Bumblebee 7/10

Not for those die hard usual transformers series fans. Watch this one with other brains. Its a comedy kiddy movie.

Rating 7 just for the fact of perfect 80s feel....the graphics and sound go hand in hand and you actually find yourself immersed in 80s era.

As for the storyline, its the usual transformers start with Cybertron war and escape to earth and then it is John cena. The story gets bored in mid 50 mins... very much stretched. Almost many viewers in theatre were in doze mode during this period (it was past midnight and in such chilly whether it is better to get dozed of in bed than theatre).
The intermission itself was a joke as it arrives suddenly as if lights went off...no logic..just hush rush! Never in my life have ever witnessed such intermission.

Bumblebee is portrayed more of a human than robot... So much emotional at times you feel the humans seems inhuman, but this guy is so humble, loving and caring with perfect expressions.

Its a one time watch. Watch it for someone who belongs to 80s era and purely for bumblebee exp.

Looks like you missed the crux of the film. The premise of this movie was basically about a grieving teen rediscovering herself after an immense loss. The robots and all the plot elements related to them were just a distraction.

Know that but the portrayal went in too deep esp. after interval. And from nowhere again the action starts.
If the girl and her loss was the sole moto they could have made a better family drama movie instead minus bots and wars.
For a good balance they should had opted for some fantasy based like Journey to the center of the earth type.
It's not a bad movie nor that good. A different feel and onc time watch.

Watched Thugs of Hindustan..

Tumbbad

A fairy tale horror movie with tight script. The dark environment works great. The making and the cinematography of this movie is top notch. At last a movie that is original and not copied from Hollywood.
Rating 8/10

Rampage - 2/10 : well, besides few visual scenes, utter nonsense.
Mortal Engine - 1/10 : well, besides few visual scenes, utter nonsense.

Both movies had budget above 100M, and seems only thing they spent on is CGI. Most of the scenes were boring, so are the dialogues.
I had relatively higher expectations from MortalEngine (coz of Peter Jackson, which I thought he was directing :D :P).
Seeing the trailer, I was prepared for a weird plot, (moving cities, hunting cities etc), but the movie is pure stupid.

How good is the Bird Box movie on Netflix? Is it too much hype or good enough to watch.
Just watch it and be done with it I will say. It is not that bad but the hype is not justified.[DOUBLEPOST=1550836262][/DOUBLEPOST]Gully Boy.
9/10. Good one. Fast paced/good music.

Thackeray

8/10. The story and related episodes cannot be clubbed in one single movie so whatever they showcased was true and in the best possible way and authentic manner.
All my memories got refreshed as I resided in the same colony as Balasaheb so it was a total recall of most of those events which i can remember since my birth.

I'm sure there will be next part as well as some important event esp. pertaining to mumbai bomb blasts and the then role of Balasahebs Shiv sena in handling everything for years later and also some other major events as well.

1. Venom : 4/10 : okayish. Desperately trying to be funny at most times.
2. Hunter Killer : 6/10 : watchable. some decent actions. storywise average.
3. Total Dhamal : 0/10 : and I have wasted money on this,... on peer pressure. :) Not a single scene which could make me laugh. The funny thing is how the makers irritatingly try to make each and every scene a comedy by trying to do stupid stuffs. Lots of well known bollywood guys monkeying around on a non-existential plot, throwing annoying lines at each other - packed and served as a comedy. Only good part, no vulgar scenes.
4. Spider-man : Into the Spider-verse : 9/10 : this is some movie. the animation style is indeed intriguing. it's like a live comic book and a damn good one. I am watching it again on this weekend. (and I am really hooked into the song 'Sunflower'. listening almost in loop :D :) )
