Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Recently was going to watch 'Pushpa rule' but I hadn't watched part one so decided to watch to understand the plot better .
My rating for pushpa rise will be like 5/10 .
After watching part one didn't go for part 2 haha.

  • The Other Guys (2010)
The time around 2010s was such a great time for comedies. Easy A, Jump Street, She's Out of My League, The Change-Up, Zombieland - you name it. And somehow, this movie flew under my radar, until I came across a snippet from the movie, thanks to Youtube recommendations.

As usual, the movie starts with some heavy hitter personalities, which I'm sure took away almost 50-60% of the movie's budget. It tricks you into thinking something else and that's when you get introduced to the 'side characters', Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. The last time I saw Wahlberg was in Boogie Nights, playing a porn star, so this indeed came up as a shock because he was pitted against Ferrell, one of the legends for comedies. And safe to say, the casting worked beautifully.

Wahlberg's serious outlook really complimented Farrell's laid back attitude, because Will does comedy so well. It's like his sixth sense. Throughout the movie, the dark humor and non-chalantness added an unique experience. And some of the quotes are extremely memorable and funny, especially Wahlberg's obsession with peacocks and flying. Also, cinematography is truly excellent for a comedic title and the pacing is perfect. Indeed an under-rated find that a deserves a watch.

Rating it 9/10

Love this movie! "I'm a peacock, you gotta let me fly!"
I'd suggest "Super Troopers" - another lesser known comedy that I really like. skip the sequel though.

Mufasa
Rating: 4/10

Poor narration and has same storyline as The Lion King. Atleast in Lion King, we had Timon and Pumba for comic relief. Here there isn’t much.
I already learnt that P3 will be released in 2k30 and many more crap series thereafter so wont be watching this 2 or anything thereafter..
lol. I watched it in Wikipedia.
