Razer™ is a brand that doesn’t need an introduction, they have been producing gaming mice since an eternity(ok, I know exaggeration). Each mouse is tentatively named after a snake, be it Viper, Salmander, DaimondBack or this baby, the CopperHead. We got all so excited when we heard about this mouse a month back, created a lot of hype, but one thing always remained at the back of everyone's head, Believe the Hype??
Overview
The mouse, beside the specs is amazing, if you know what I mean. It bears the distinctive Illuminated Razer back, and a Razer logo on top that glows from time to time adding to the "sexy" appeal of the mouse. the Copperhead is available in three different colors, Red, Blue and Green, but nothing quite beats the cool blue look of it, at least for me.
We tested this mouse on eXactMat, which is needless to say the best that Razer had to offer

The Packaging
Got the CopperHead and the eXactmat from the Razer store for 89 USD and 30 USD respectively, got free shipping because the order was above 100$, sweet, isn’t it? It was shipped via UPS and for the entire shipping duration, I sat, tracking the order and biting my nails in anxiety. Finally, the tracking status read "Hyderabad". A day went by with no update, could not hold on longer, called those UPS guys and inquired what’s happening, and they said, "We are having difficulties in finding your address sir" and I was like mad with anger, lol
Anyways, directed their delivery boy and in about an hr, the package was in my hand, signed the receipt, still quite angry. Took the package with me, actually ran with it inside and ripped it open, the packaging was good; the entire thing was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap. Finally, I had it in my hand, the Copperhead, forgot everything else when I saw it, including my anger at those UPS fellows.

Well, didn’t really care about anything else that came with it, except of course the mouse itself. But did receive the manual, ownership certificate and driver CD with it, which surprisingly didn’t work, had to download the drivers off their website.

The side view, the Copperhead features a slightly arched back, which makes it easier to grip and comfortable to use.

The front of the Copperhead, two long buttons with rubberised grip makes it easier to click. The Scroll wheel is not too smooth, nor too tight, but just perfect so that you dont turn too much or turn too less and select the wrong gun

Take a look at the Razer 2000 Dpi sensor. its powerd by Class I laser which is completly harmless to eyes. The reset button comes in handy when you want to reset your mouse and remove all your saved profiles
The USB connector of the mouse is Gold plated to maximise conductivity
Software
All Razer mice come with the configuration utility that lets you optimize your Razer mouse exactly to your liking. lets take a closer look at the configuration utility of Copperhead. Once started, the Razer configuration utility minimizes itself at the tray menu.
The utility lets you change the sensitivity of X and Y-axis independently as well as customizing the 7 buttons available according to your liking. you can also adjust the windows pointer speed and various other mouse options
Here, the 32 KB of onboard memory comes into use, you can save five different settings in your mouse, what’s the use? well just plug the mouse in any new pc, load the software and your ready to go, now no need to waste time or look stupid customizing you mouse at LAN Parties..
Final Verdict
The Razer Copperhead is, without doubt the leader in High precision mouse that are available at the moment, with its impressive specs, Ultra cool looks, Comfort or build quality. With the amount of customization that you can do with this mouse, its going to suit everyone just perfectly. The Razer Copperhead is certainly the best gaming mouse money can buy at the moment, making the 89.99 US$ worth every cent.
