Hi friends I was wanting to know the price of yamaha Rd350cc and New Model yamaha Rxz, can anyone help me with this?
 
there is no 'new' rxz. do you have the fz 16 in mind? or a used rxz?

of course the RD pwns all, but will cost a bomb to buy and maintain.

practical alternative, RX 100. A certain boi on this forum owns a few dozen of them :P
 
a fully refurbished RD or a well maintained one will set you back by 70k IMO. Thats the way it was a few months ago when my friend wanted to buy one, in the end he bought a RX100 btw:bleh:
 
If performance is the only criterion, the the RD350 is the definite choice.. But be ready to pay an outrageous amount as price.. Even then finding one in good condition is really hard.. Moreover its a gas guzzler & spares are hard to find..
 
@greenhorn, i am talkin about the Rxz with disk break and catalytic silencer, not the old moder with 4 gears, can you help me with the price of it?? i mean Rxz 5-speed..
@arjpillai ya bro i agree, recently i saw one Rd but the condition was not good and the quoted price was 75k..
 
getting parts for an RXZ are almost as (and in some cases , harder than) parts for an RD 350, and its nowhere near as special. avoid :P
 
Rd350 : one special 2 stroke twin monster... If you are going in for it, the parts are not easliy available but its worth the wait. however 75k for unmaintained is really too much. A proper maintained Rd should start around 50k.
 
The RD 350 is so rare that its become a seller's market. the last few sales I know had them going very close to the 1L mark.
 
not only has the RD become a seller's market item, but people who have the expertise to restore a RD charge a bomb to do the same.... not to mention the spares of course.
The best way would be to buy a not so well maintained or ill-conditioned RD and then splurge on restoring and modding it.
In any case, be prepared to shell out an amount in the 80k region, and if you have the money brother, there's nothing like an RD.
