I'd still get the latter just for its character :bleh::bleh::bleh:

125k is pretty well priced. I was expecting this to cost atleast 150 ex-showroom. Might get one later this year.

Look who's talking about character! Why didnt you buy the Ambasador instead of the newer gen Amby? Just because something is old doesnt mean it has character! In that case, you would have more character than me! But that is not true now, is it? :P

PS: I dont mean any offence to guys who love REs. I hate them. That is MY opinion and the wonder that is free speech allows me to voice them.

^^ Thats not really comparing the same thing now is it ? What crusier bike from any manufacturer gives you the stance and the high torque of a bullet ? The Bajaj Avenger looks like a toy compared to the Bullet.

I just wish i had the money to afford the bullet but unfortunately 75k is the max I can go so I will have to skimp and get a Yamaha Fazer 150 instead. :(

I take it that you've never rode a bullet before. Of all the bullet owners I know, many have their bullets as old as 20-25 years and still running dandy.
And like Chaos said... no sport bike can match the character and personality of cruisers. Sport bikes... they all look like flashy toys.

It's not about Speed and going fast, it's about cruising and enjoying your ride.

Well, the Indian governments have also lasted 60+ years. But were they efficient? Nope. Just because something lasts for a long time doesnt make it reliable.

What personality do cruisers have? They are basically just shouting out to the world that the rider is an old man who isnt interested in going faster!

If you say Sport bikes look like flashy toys, cruisers look like relics from the past century.

^ Oh boy.... you really need to work on your analogies. Indian government is a made up of different ruling parties at different times. Bullet was made by ONE company. Secondly, when you say "something lasts for long time doesn't make it reliable" is funny itself, as it's directly referencing your first sentence, which as I said earlier doesn't make sense in regards to topic we are discussing in this thread.

When it comes to product, be it car, bike or computers.... unless it's reliable, it's won't last long. If it's lasts long, that means it has to be more reliable than average standard.

If you hate RE so much, why even bother coming to this thread and go on blabbering, while you can very well go and discuss other sport bike thread. I understand that everybody has right to their opinion, but like you even we have... so are you not trying to push your opinion on us by using BS analogies and comparisons?

Free speech is one thing... senseless blabbering is another.

I am clubbing all the different governments we have had into one entity. Which I'm comparing to RE.

And reliability doesnt just mean longevity. It is the ability to work everytime, anytime. Oil leaking constantly, etc are not signs for reliability. I guess you have a much more liberal meaning of reliability.

Agreed with tyreboi :P RE has the worst QC ever. They have been around for ages yes but their QC needs to improve.

Hehe.... I read the specs only now :P

This has some modern technology! Shocking! Fuel injection, etc...etc... So, I do take back my words about paying 1.5 lakhs and not getting anything modern!

Let's see.... It might actually be reliable!

However, it doesnt look appealing from any angle! But that's hardly a debating topic. Looks are subjective.

They need to put this engine into a thunderbird now. That will sell like anything. Not that this one is doing bad - there's a two month long waiting period :P

OMG..hw did I miss this?...have been waiting for this for a loooong time...I am off to the showroom now...

If you need real thump sound, get your silencer changed to short bottle silencer after 1000 kms .

Well ,

Imagine this You Take a MP3 Player And Use a IEM Then Fasten Your Helmet And Pump The volume Of The MP3 To 75% Plus ,the bullet Becomes Noiseless and You Can Make it run As Fast as You Can i Do This Mostely .Damn I Hate Cold Weather Its Comming Means i Can Ride My Bike Less .:P

Guys :

Whats The Engine Difference In This You ARe Talking About I Am Clueless .

@Amarbeer: Although I'm not a speed freak, my brother has rode our 2005 Electra @ 140+ KMPH. I've always been slow and nice, cruising type of guy. :)
