re1 and fiio e7

hello all,

this is going to be my new combo for listening to music.
earlier had re0 and nano but stolen by some one(curse him)
though i was not impressed by re0 (may b cuz of nano being bright)

I frst orderd for re-zero but it was out f stock @ Lynx.
so ordered re1 and fiio e7.
i hope i will love the fun sound and awesome soundstage of re1.
it will contain me for 3-4 months
then i will look for upcoming fiio e9 and re262

Congrats :D RE-1 is an amazing IEM with smooth laidback sound signature and an amazingly wide soundstage.They are lot demanding in terms of power compared to RE-0 , hopefully the E7 should drive it well. Do post your impressions once you get it ;).
 
Congrats ! Even I bought another RE1 from Lynx. :)

My earlier one died yesterday. :'(

Whats worse is that the warranty had expired on 14th July. :(

These earphones served me well as my primary earphones for over a year and I loved them so much that I couldn't think of spending more for something but not liking them. The RE252 were the only other earphones I really liked but they lacked the soundstage of the RE1. Come to think of it only the Triple-fi could match the soundstage of the RE1.
 
BF1983 sorry for ur RE1 tht died just after warranty.
Which amp or PMP u use for thm.
I thnk i m not analytical person
Though later on i will love to try some good analytical phones
i love the sound which drowns me into music, which makes me thump my feet

WTF they died, damn man what happened try talking to Fang tell him it died on 14th he would help you out ,just mail him give it a try.

He has Amp pro v2 and a P3+.
 
^ He already bought another RE-1. Brendon you should have tried RMA'ing but I guess it wouldn't have worked out since He had purchased it from Lynx and not Head-Direct directly. :(
 
@Faheem - I purchased them directly from head-direct.

@Metalspree - Didn't get your PM but Faheem called me and told me about your offer.

Should I try PMing Fang about RMA after warranty is over ? I checked my bill and found out that warranty expired in June 2010. :(

The re1 are not analytical phones like the RE0. They are laid back with the best soundstage in an IEM (if amped). However they dont have huge bass but they do immerse me in the music. My 1 and half hour daily commute becomes enjoyable. :)
 
just got my re1 and fiio e7

after using re1 too i wanna say that if somehow head-direct can combine treble and clarity of re0 with imaging and bass of re1

i wont look for anyother earphones

i must say imaging and bass of re1 is nice:clap:

excellent processing and shipping from lynx

currently burning them

@ FaH33m - Dude I think you should create a beginners guide to the terminologies you use! Soundstage, use of Amp's, the best PMP's and burning in etc etc..

I'm guessing your probably the best person to create such a thread directed at someone with not much idea about this stuff.
 
We have been forcing Faheem to make such a thread for a long time. :gun2:

Hopefully he make such a thread after so many requests this time. :)
