Faheem is gettin more busy day by day

i feel after few months we hav to tak an appointment from his beautiful & busty secretary to consult him:)

E7 wont be able to do justice to my re1:(
i will look for upcoming e9 desktop amp:S
any other amp i can look for 8-10k max

i wont buy an amp right now
but after1-2 months may be

still wana know wht r the options
and for earphones i will keep re1 and if i like anyhtng among re242 or 262, i will buy one(and thn no more shopping for a long time )

MAN this hobby is very costly

any how i heard e9 will output the same power as maverick d1 i.e. 1W per channel

does it mean tht either of thm is a viable option for me
 
If you are willing to spend so much on an amp rather look at amps like Headstage Arrow 12HE or ALO:Rx .Slightly more expensive than Fiio but should be in a different league altogether :)

Headstage Arrow HE should be your best bet. It costs $249 shipped to your house. It competes with amps that cost $400 and more !

The Arrow would exceed his budget, without even brining customs into the picture.
 
yup importing the product will surely bring in customs and other charges

will wait for some time and research around......

Customs you might get lucky actually as the amp package will be pretty small and the guys will undervalue it to 50-60$ or lower if you request them :).Customs wouldn't really bother if its undervalued and doesn't look like some hi-end media player.

Regarding D2000 review , I don't think I will get the time do it .Need to finish up quite a few pending reviews and can't rush with them .I will try and put up my impressions in the original thread if possible. Anyways quite a few Mumbai members have tried my D2000 with a proper setup using Brendon's Audio GD compass,they should help you with some impressions as well :D .
 
Toucan is a sweet product according to reviews and mind you its a balanced amp which makes it even sweeter.iBasso does undervalue when you request them mine was valued $5 :P

will research and read

but still fiio is not up with e7 lod

so hav to wait for tht too

Dude toucan is Balanced. The converter cable to convert a normal 3.5mm headphone jack to Balanced XLR pin is almost the price of an Amp itself. Cuz i'm sure u won't buy a cheap cable after buying an amp like that.

As bf1983 and faheem said, the Arrow 12HE and the Alo:Rx are really good for their price range. If you wanna spend more, go for an RSA Mustang. If you don't wanna spend 250$ on an amp then you can go for iBasso's entry lineup which is VFM.
 
The basic entry level amps like T3 etc from Ibasso wont be a big step up compared to the E7 ,so I suggest you either upgrade to something worth keeping for years to come or stick to the E7. You won't need the LOD of E7 to use an amp , so E7 wont be of use to you other than as a DAC only if you dont have any soundcard for desktop.
 
^ I am using my laptop and e7 now for re1

so if i get an amp, it will be connected to e7 as my laptops soundcard is not at all gud

if i dnt find a good option, i will save more and buy somethng better later

i dnt wana hav quantity but quality.:D

as far as now i like the sound of re1

its pushing me towards headphones with fuller sound, better soundstage and imaging

so i will toy around with re1 and keep my eyes open for upcoming amps and headphones like re1 sound sig(ofcourse wth better treble):hap2:

ANY IDEA HOW MUCH TIME RE1 WILL TAKE TO BURN IN

these re1 hav really improved in 8-10 hrs

having quality time
