RE262: A better RE1

..its a toptier IEM with 250 price tag ...not expected ! when you hear others, damn that makes a lot of difference.

I am not saying it lacks detail or its rolled off ..just laid back soooo(ooo) much ( not some laid back character ), after i listen the AKG or FX700,i find the re262 very much lacking. And yeah overall they are very neutral IEMs.

i think i will do the foam mod that brings out the treble, but i am afraid to do so :fear:

in indian music its forgivable ( cause the vocals more than make up for it ) , but in metal, its not ..cant listen to metal with these on !

yup i agree tht its very laidback and this is the only thing i dnt like
i like thm to be more fwd(in Re262) but still overall laidback
for ths reason its not upto the mark for me, but still i m very satisfied
however whn comparing to Re1, price diff for me is just 3.5k and its much better thn Re1
i m happy with re262

however i dnt listen to metal(not my taste)
One interesting thing i noted about re262(or say good iems) is tht it let u distinguish b/w good, well and excellent recorded tracks

I dint felt re262 to be neutral, however transparent they are
