Movies are a blast and music is soothing

but nothings beats good ol' reading

We have a sticky for movies and one for music, I think it's time we have one for reading too. Post about the BOOKS that you are reading nowadays. They can be anything: fictions, non-fictions, travelogues, chic-lit, thriller, IT-related. Just don't include magazines and newspapers, guides and text-books :)

BTW, I have just finished The White Tiger by Arvind Adiga

Am reading Twilight at the moment :)

P.S - Can everyone put down the name of the book in bold? Will make it easier to recognise the books from the discussion.

^^ from The Secret to White Tiger will be quite a change. Anyone who have liked Slumdog will find White Tiger to be similar :)

^^ read it about six years ago. Does not agree with the book mostly.

But you can't ignore that it is a powerful work with some unique ideas that influenced post-modern world in a very profound way. And of course, the republicans in the US still swear by this book

Recently finished "The Rule of Four" by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. Pretty good book. Wish the writer duo had trimmed few unnecessary parts lengthening the story. Been reading it for almost two years. No... it book is not boring, it's just that I didn't find time from work to continue reading at stretch. Thanks to the recent trip I could finish reading it while traveling.

Planning to start "One Night at Call Center", been lying around since week.... as soon as couple of current projects finish.

The fact that once in life we all feel that the world is out to stifle our creativity! And of course the fact remains that girls love Howard Roark so boys have to read it

A brief description/background will be appreciated for ones who are looking for suitable titles to read :)
Yes, indeed. The White Tiger is about a man born and brought up in poverty who watches the changing contours of Indian society post-liberalization and seizes his chance to transcend the age-old barriers.
