There are frequent light outs in Thane now. In night, sometimes the light go off at around 1am for 2 hours, and thus making it impossible to sleep due to heat. Are there any rechargeable fans available in the market? Any ideas?
i think you can get cheapest invertor for around 8-10k, that 'll be good option.. you 'll have lights too when electricity goes off . .. and yes even a small battery can run a ceiling fan for 5-6 hours easily..
Buy a sealed UPS battery ( 12V 7ah ) costs about 600 rupees. Get a batt charger, around 300-400 i guess. Get a decent nidec/delta with current rating <1amp and you're set!
7ah = 7A for one hour ~ 1A for 7 hours
PS : in summertime I use a sunon 120mm 120CFM 230V AC fan myself :ashamed:
