Recommend a Wireless modem+router for BSNL broadband

I have to recommend a BSNL BB wireless modem + router for my uncles house .

No complex issues with configuration

No requirement of running hacked firmware or DD-WRT

Price 2k

no requirement of n for the wireless but g would do .

Signal should not drop frequently and it should not hang

Basically a thing which u install and forget

PPPoE or Bridged mode will be done after asking them

And yes the wireless should have a okayish range .

how is Dlink DSL-2640T

or

DLINK WIRELESS G BROADBAND ROUTER DIR 300

or

Linksys WRT160N

dont want to buy the ones which are available with BSNL for purchase

If you can afford then dont look any further then Linksys WRT160N.
But its just a wireless router and not a modem as well AFAIK.
And cost stands at around 5.5k.
 
the problem is , it is still not sure from BSNL whether they can provide BB at my uncles place .

Its a far off place

4 kms short of it BB is available but at his place it would have to be checked

So if i buy from BSNL and BB doesnt work then i have a hardware of 1600 lying around

I will check first with my friends router-modem

If BB there then only buy something from market
 
I would second the D-Link Dir 300 but I can't vouch the performance using original firmware I am running DD-WRT it cost me 1640 Rs about a month back the range is pretty decent.
