This is only if you don't go for a hardwired connection.
But if you hardwire, it would likely be...
FuseBox -> Wire to -> Front Camera -> Wire to -> Rear Camera

Like I said, I would just tap one of the already laid rear wires for the rear connection. If one has to take a connection all the way from the front, then my plan sucks for that implementation. It only works for people who have options like me. Anyhow, I am not a customer for dual channel cameras as the sole purpose for a dash cam for me is to have evidence in case of a crash and a front camera setup is enough for that, IMHO. Also, I don't require parking mode recording either. I just threw in my suggestion because dual channel setups are quite expensive compared to 2 basic dash cams like the mini which come without a screen. But if you hardwire, it would likely be...

DASH(board?) camera - i dont understand why someone needs to have at rear of the car?
Ok, its personal preference(and no logic then )! Been using dashcam for almost 6 years, never felt a need for rear. Personally it never make sense unless someone wants to do some kind of V-logging. Regarding rear ending, its mostly always other person's fault(driver who drives the vehicle behind you) and remaining cases you will have front camera to prove you are not at fault.concerned by getting hit from back and want evidence
Very recently, My car got hit by a truck from the right back corner, and eventually my car hit another truck on front right, the Insurance supervisor was bit reluctanct in approving claim for both sides. I had both recordings, front and back and claim was settled 100%. The difference amount was double of the cost of dashcam.Ok, its personal preference(and no logic then )! Looks like your dash cam paid for itself.Very recently, My car got hit by a truck from the right back corner, and eventually my car hit another truck on front right, the Insurance supervisor was bit reluctanct in approving claim for both sides. I assume you claimed from your own insurance and This is the issue with your insurance provider(personally i will discard them in my next renewal, tataaig and royal sundaram). In your case claim needs to be settled without even need of dashcam footage, after all the whole reason why we go for OD insurance.Insurance supervisor was bit reluctanct
1. Long history with service center, they dont like me for obvious reasons. They try to upsell a lot pf things with service and I dont take then .I assume you claimed from your own insurance and This is the issue with your insurance provider(personally i will discard them in my next renewal, tataaig and royal sundaram). Seriously not sure on what reason insurer can deny and then approve just because dashcam footage provded?
ideally dashcam footage needed to prove its fault of other person and settle the case in a whatever way possible.
