Storage Solutions Recommend me a 500GB HDD

hello all
i urgently need to buy a 500gb right today but confused between Seagate and WD.

Friends suggested me:
WD black for regular use OR
WD green for backup (5400 rpm) OR
Seagate ST3500418AS

Which one to go for? :huh: I will use it as primary drive with OS and everything.

Seagate 500GB ST3500320AS Barracuda 7200.11 Serial ATA II 7200RPM 32MB Buffer has been discontinued, so any other 32mb buffer choice in WD or ST?

Also do now ST offers pick up n delivery option as like WD?
I hope warranty is 5yrs for both brands!

I am using WD blue drive and till now there is no reason for me to complain. It will serve well as your primary drive.

Well, 500GB black isn't available in India. KMD quoted me around 4400/- for one.

You can get a 640GB WD Blue.

my ST3500320AS crashed ... all data lost and even seagate service entre cannot recover it.. bull shit... Never buy ST3500320AS hdd...
