Recommend phone for 17-18k

Will be selling my E72 tomorrow cause i want to move away from Symbian. plz recommend me an upgrade from the same, I really would like a fast and compact phone (Used a frnds N900 for a week and even though the device is top notch, its pretty much sized like a brick). Also are there any other decent phones which are small and have a slider qwerty pad like the X10 mini pro (which looks like my only option now) However i would like to know the expected price and launch date for the mini pro.
Any help is much appreciated.

Purchased one yesterday but it seems BADA is not for me.
So selling it and will w8 for N8.

Hellgate what didnt you like about wave? Would be interested in knowing about any negatives as I am planning to buy.

How much did you buy that for?? What did you find bad in BADA?

Im thinking of getting it for my mom, is it difficult for mom-type-people to use it? I mean, is it too small?
