Recommendations for lightweight travel backpack

I currently have the below backpack that I bought back in 2017. It is excellent backpack and has been serving me very well even today. I use it daily for office and whenever I go on vacation, I take this bag as well. It still looks like how it was on Day 1 and had zero issues (like stitching coming off, chain breaking, zipper going bad).

My problem right now is that although this bag is great for my daily office travel with laptop and all but for vacation travel and carrying entire day during sightseeing and such, I no longer want to haul this around. It is heavy at 1.8Kg (as per manufacturer) and has lot more slots than I want (for vacation / travel purpose). The back slot of bag is completely useless for me as the space is designed for laptop and such which is not useful when I am on vacation.

I am looking for a bag specifically for travel and my requirements are these...

  • Lightweight - preferably well under or max 1.2 Kg. Lighter the better
  • Laptop pocket is NOT necessary as the bag is for vacation and travel. If I have to take laptop, I will use my existing backpack.
  • Need at least 1 front pocket to keep small things like phone / passport / powerbank etc.
  • Main big pocket to put some clothes, jacket, snacks etc.
  • At least one pocket on side for water bottle. Two would be great.
  • Hip belt so that I get additional support if weight increases in bag and weight is properly distributed.
Does anyone have any suggestions on Indian websites? I would like to not spend more than 5K if I can but if it is really good, I may reconsider the budget.

You might want to check out the Forclaz Travel 100 Backpack 40L from Decathlon — it ticks almost all your boxes.

Forclaz Travel Backpack 500, weighs 1.3kgs. 40l. However, check dimension. If you hand carry and fly budget airlines, particularly asean region. The dimensions may go over by a couple of cms. Made out of 100% polyester. (Could be very thin)

Wildcraft has Cargo series bags. No mention of weight. I used some of the packs, lasted couple of years before getting ripped. Can't comment on current products.

Carbonado Overnighter, stronger fabric, heavier. Owned and still using their packs. Sturdy bags, some evident cost cutting on straps and interior pockets.

My preferred choice would be Osprey, light weight with brilliant weight distribution when fully packed. Online retailers are selling them at 2x markup.

Which one specifically in Osprey? At least I can check what is on offer and what retailers are selling (even at 2x markup)?

Farpoint 40. I see retailer like this one selling it around 12k. This is an older model (pre-2022) retailed around 7k before. This bag was updated last year and now it retails at 10-11k on Amazon US.
