Yet again Mumbai has broken record in Weather events..........

Yes u read it right Mumbai city has broken its record yet again today its 10.8 Degree Celcius [Mumbai Santacruz], the last one was around 11.6c back in 1997........... 11 year record broken and still going strong

Seems like we have a very hot and rainy weather set for the rest of the year.......

I'm enjoying the weather very much hope it stays same round the year :hap2: ..............

Yes Global Warming...
I think we as a community at TE should keep there systems off for one day [24 hrs] every month altogether to support Global Warming Issues

[just a thought]

I know few people around who cannot live without there rig for less then 5-7 hours [thats the time they sleep]............
 
^^ Or atleast if not that support manufacturers who sell less energy support, you might think that computer's power consumption is less but all the quad cores + dual video cards running 24/7 use a lot off power...
 
I stay in Kharghar,New Bombay and the vast expanse of open space here surrounded by hills makes it a bit more chilly than in the city....but i'm simply loving the weather as it is right now...:D What a change from the usual hot and humid weather thru out the year tht mumbaikars have to suffer...

The weather right now is so good tht i wish it stayed this way thru out the year..then thr wud be no place in the world like Bombay...:D

Btw, my E6300 (cooled by TRUE X ) is doing 31C atm...:ohyeah: what a drop from the usual 37-39C tht it usually hovers at most of the time of the year...:D

i never knew u too were from navi mumbai !!:D ...happy to see another TE member living nearby.

by da way i am in seawoods..(nerul)..and my house is near to the palm beach road..and direct wind blows from the sea ..near the palm beach road ...to my area..the weather is too good..just too good..:P

very chilly and cold even during da day ..at night i have to wear socks..as the room feels like ice..:P

i am loving it..

and even my dads happy cause no one's using the fans and AC 24 X 7...:rofl:
 
waah ..so many guys here from navi mumbai and i never knew..

.one best thing is abt navi mumbai is da climate !

Hehehe...:) Btw, there are many more members from navi mumbai here...dingemini, yogi7272(vashi) are others tht i know of, from navi mumbai apart from U and cyberjunkie...:P

Btw, i agree, the weather in seawoods-CBD-kharghar is very good at the moment...it gets so chilly in the night when i return from office(andheri) by train around seawoods and CBD these days tht i have to put on my jacket...:P I dont think i evr had to wear a jacket in mumbai b4 this...:lol:
 
right now (7PM) my mercury thermometer on the wall next to my computer reads 27C here in downtown Churchgate :P

My AMD Opteron 175 is now idling at 31C and my WD 750GB HDD is at 29C !!
 
^ i was going to ride down to town , but then thought of the cold and then shunned to b stuck to the pc.....all my sliding windows of the balcony are closed - if i open them , the cold wind blows right in .....the thermometer stuck on my cupboard reads --> 18 degrees.......so thats how cold it is in a totally air packed room.....
 
The bad stuff is the cold shows how much hot the summer would be.....i would say its better to buy ac and all at this moment
 
Mumbai that cold :O I have never been to Mumbai during the winters but I always thought that Mumbai weather was more or less the same throughout the year.

^Yes, it usually is...but during this time of the year, the weather is at its splendid best..not much cold and not much humid either..but this year its been particularly a bit more chilly than usual..:P And thts a welcome change..:D
 
I've been freezing from morning :P, I went to vashi in the morning... its more cold out there...

and while leaving skoar in evening... I was shaking on my bike :P
 
Here on the virar side its sooo cold that my e6300 is idling at 27 (on stock coolers) and has not gone above 31 in the past week. :D

no diff for me btw cause even in office i have to bear such cold air coming from the central ac directly over my head!! its seems funny to me when i see ppl coming to my cubicle, start shivering and leave after sitting there for 5 mins. :rofl:
 
Two things are for sure one everyone is loving the change in mumbai's climate & the other thing the upcoming summer is gonna screw us all this year and i goddam guarantee to each & everyone of you on this one............

on the bike its the worst....u should try wat i do , wait for a nice bus or truck to go past u , and go behind it at a 'safe' distance.......works fine for me when im passin thru those v.v.v. cold regions especially the highway part near aarey colony.....sheesh :rofl: :rofl:

:rofl:nice idea...but what do you do ..when da winds blowing sideways...lolzz..it becomes difficult to go along with the bus /track...:P

today evening while going from Seawoods to Vashi on my ride..via da palm beach road ...i almost turned into ICE..:Pit was so cold and i was riding at 80-90...(thats the max on my ride).

it was so cold ..that i was shivering .and could feel ice running down my spine...and by the time i reached vashi all da hair on body were

standing...like pins ...overall ..it was awesome ..enjoyed riding in such a atmosphere..:rofl::rofl:
