Shocking isnt it??
but true.
I always keep my cell on the window rack jst nxt to my bed.
Today morning when i woke up and checked my cell for any sms/miss calls; as soon as i clicked to view the missed call it gave a sudden error--SIM CARD NOT VALID & also the display behind the words went white & the cell hanged.
I dint took it seriously & removed the battery and sim and put them again but same thing kept happening. Previously i was sleepy but now i was freshly awake and shocked. I wondered what suddenly happened to my dear phone? :O
And to my surprise if that wasnt enuf, hard to believe that some red ants were crawling on my cell.
I blew air on it and they were gone. But to surprise they kept coming from inside of keypad and kept going along the display sides.
Now it was a panic scenario. I rushed to get all tools and began dismantling the cell in balcony.
Firstly removed the front panel and found 8-10 ants on it inside. some were playing hide n seek from the keypad. Then rest of ants were sitting alongside of my display & were running somewhere inside backsides. Upon removing the mobo, they were in dozens in the semi-empty area of the backpane & were hidden inside every chip they can.
Now obviously this was getting onto my nerves & i started hunting & removing each tiny ant i can. After 1/2hr of battle i was sure now everythings clean and almost 40-50 ants were either dead or homeless, :chair:i reassembled the unit and wat a huge sigh of relief, my cell was back on track---no errors whatsoever.:cool2:
But the question still remains--wtf ants were doing inside the cellphone?
I never saw or heard that ants attacking any electronic devices except some crawling inside/nr the cabby but thats fine.
What could be attracting for them deep inside?
We have heard that "Ek MAchar AADmi Ko HijDa Bana Deta Hai!",
but now i can add
"Ek chiti kisi bhi cheez ka band baja sakti hai"
