Hello,
I have decided to go with any one of these 3 mobiles.
I will require minimum 8GB Ram (12 gb better), will there be performance difference ?
Minimum 128 GB (256 gb better) even existing 128 GB mobile has 60+ gb unused space (everything goes to cloud then delete locally)

Not sure about rest of hardware.
CPU, charging, camera etc.

Kindly refer/mention key differences between these 3 ? And your suggestion for 22K mobile + 3K for exchange of old mobile.
I am a n00b when it comes to selecting hardware.

Here is a comparison about 3:

Thanks.

I've become a Xiaomi/poco fan recently as moto service is not present in my town at all, and nothing is all the way across town, while mi has service centers all over the place and they are all very cheap and professional

Also, if you can wait, I'd do that because the poco version of these phones (X6) is due for launch soon, and they'll usually be cheaper

Yes, also consider the poco F5 if you are not keen to wait. Poco are basically rebranded Xiaomi phones for online sellers. The hardware is same, software is 99.99999% same, the service centers and experience is the same
Thanks,
Already waited for 2 weeks for redmi 13.
Any idea about poco launch?

I am considering redmi Note 13 pro 5g 12gb+256gb black color precisely

How can I convert my existing sim card from 4g to 5g Jio and vi both?

my airtel and jio sims started picking up 5g the moment i put them into my phone. you may not even need to replace your sim if you got them recently
If you've waited, I am sure the poco will take a week or so to launch, and god knows when the flash sales will start

No love for realme?
And if you already didn't check this link - -
Pros
Good design and IP68-rated durability
Great display quality
Fast and fluid performance
Extremely fast charging speeds

Cons
Software is full of bloatware, redundant apps, and annoying notifications
Permanent sharpening and saturation filter for video apps is frustrating
Camera has white balance and color fringing issues

Physically checking will be more helpful
Redmi Note 13 Pro, if you are a Redmi Note fan.

Else my first choice will be Moto Edge 40, followed by Nothing Phone 1.
Any reason for not suggesting Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5g?

Don't know what it is not it has curved display.
Better dust and water protection
IP68
120 Watts charger
Reverse charging
Better camera
Not sure if processor is better then Note 13 pro.

Will wait for your and more opinion.

Save money with Note 13 Pro, 4k if you compare 8/256GB variants:
Splashproof is enough, it likely has the seals for IP68, but they saved cost by not getting the certificate.

65W is enough. Battery health deteriorates faster as you increase the charging power, that's why Samsung, Apple & Google are at 25W but IMO those 3 should move to 65W as 25W or even Samsung's 45W is too slow for 2024.

Will you really use reverse charging? I never missed this on my S20FE 5G

Exact same camera set, so not sure how Pro+ has better cameras?

Processor - 7s Gen 2 is similar to S778, like 10% better at best. D7200 is new, but it is bit inferior to S778 based on core config. So I'll say this is a tie at best. GSMArena has Geekbench 6 number of 7200 at 2681 vs 2797 of Samsung A54. A54 on Geekbench 5 is 2703, S8020 of Edge 40 at 3320, S778 of NP1 at 3024 & 7+ Gen 2 at 3939. These are CPU numbers, similarly check the GPU numbers if you are interested.

For performance, there are more powerful options like Poco F5 with 7+ Gen 2 which is much faster than S778. F5 has an ok camera, but is likely inferior. Xiaomi doesn't have great software post-processing, so there's that as well.

Thanks for reply.
Technically not sure but most purple are suggesting Samsung, poco or nothing phone compared to redmi Note 13 pro 5g 12/256

Is it only because the pricing is too high for redmi?
Price is high for Redmi, software is inferior to Samsung & even barebones stock android of Moto will last better in the long run (in terms of lag & stutters after 3-4 years). Camera post-processing is not great on both Xiaomi & Moto but competition has at least as good SoC or better.

Launching with android 13 in 2024 is not good either. RN13 pro & Poco X6 have a 3.5mm jack, which is a pro. Xiaomi promising 3 OS updates is nice (so till A16) vs I think just 2 for Edge 40 (A15) vs 1 more remaining for NP1 (A15). IMO android updates aren't adding much these days but some people have praised improved battery life with A14 on Pixel & Samsungs. Anyways, Republic Day sales start soon, see which phones get a price cut.

If the camera isn't a big concern, can save more money by opting Poco X6 over RN13 pro. If camera is a deal-breaker, maybe look more into Pixel 7a's Android 14 update reviews, it might fall to 30k or lower soon.

Hello @captivating @OMEGA44-XT @dissel Thanks for your valuable inputs.

Bought redmi note 13 pro 12gb/256gb coral purple. Required a phone urgently..
Pricing at croma was 30K, I had to pay 28K
2K exchange for old mobile
2K cashback on icici cc after 90 days.

Can you guys suggest required accessories for same ?
This came with backcover (not impressive) and 67W charger.

I need tempered glass thing, good cover and not sure what other accessories might be useful ?

mi/poco with snapdragon have a better after life with pixel os and lineage os period. Mi ranting about losing its number 1 place was because of its stupid flings with Mediatek etc

The variant I bought comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 chipset and Adreno 710 graphics
