I got my item 450W PSU without much hassle except delay of 2 days in shipping post which it was shipped via dtdc and got to me very quickly and is working properly. Albeit payment went to a SHUBHASHISH Roy and not Nandita roy which had a different mobile number on WhatsApp

Hi Guys, my experience was positive with the user. I have dealt twice and got the product as described and on time mostly. I was interested in phone too and ready to make the payment but she didn't accept the payment saying she was busy with some medical emergency, so I didn't contact her back. I feel like we should give her more time, I expect she should respond soon.
I was the seller. NanditaRoy PMd me in response to his wanted thread. Earlier he wanted me to send the item first on grounds of no feedback. So i PMd him my old TE account feedback link and my Erodov feedback link dug out from wayback machine. Payment came from Subhasis Das (claimed as Nandita's husband) after we spoke on call. About 9 days later, NanditaRoy messaged me on Whatsapp that the card was not getting detected in 2 PCs. So i PMd a whole bunch of troubleshooting steps. Subhasis said he tried in his friend's PC as well. I know how the PCI-e bus works so i had smelled a rat already. I made Subhasis go to a PC with the card. Before that i asked him what motherboard he used. He said the card wasn't getting detected. I told him to give me a HWiNFO screenshot. He did that. Now i asked him a pic of the seated card on the mobo. All of a sudden laxmi puja started & his house were full of people
The microarchitecture in HWInfo screenshot pointed to a different motherboard socket type than what his board was compatible with. 5 days later i Whatsapped NanditaRoy about how HWiNFO tool can magically fix a dead card. To which i got a reply that it didn't & that 2 opamp sockets had dry solder & that we had to get it repaired. I got inquisitive again & dug out info about the shop, it's location etc. Finally i asked if there was an invoice i could see for the repairs. Replied it's okay buddy. We didn't question anything. During this entire course of communication, i only spoke with Subhasis, even on Nandita's number. I got my feedback & the buyer even if shady, wasn't rude. Deal ended as it should have. I was compelled to give a positive feedback.The way i see it NanditaRoy isn't completely dishonest. I'll just alert buyers to beware due to his habit of playing dual roles.

What puzzles me is... why does the feedback exchanged doesn't reflect this? Did you guys exchange feedback before even testing happened?

What effusive praise? You are reading between the lines. I don't hang out all day & night in the Classifieds section. You can't hold others responsible. None of NanditaRoy's behaviour was apparent when our deal took place. I had checked all posts when buyer told me to send the package first.
But what about post deal communication that you elaborated above ??? It does not reflect in the feedback posted for the deal.
This is what feedback is about. If plus points should go in .. so should the minuses too. One should mention all key details for record and then give recommendation. It allows community members to take informed decisions in future.
If you haven't checked out the essay i posted above, go through it again. The buyer wasn't rude. The buyer agreed with the final outcome. No haggling or argument took place. The buyer did come across as untrustworthy. But who cares after his end of the bargain was complete. Final outcome was acceptable. So i didn't bother. Now i have two FMs asking me why i didn't do it in the past? The answers are already up there. There's a big difference between business & fraternity. Your loss in a deal is your own problem if you cannot figure things out with basic guidelines in place. A FM PMd me today. I thought it would be wise mentioning in this thread instead of a reply. Looks like i should have cared less.
The mere notion of 'who cares' is what is obviously wrong here. The community cares even if you do not. There is a reason why people come and join. Leaving OLX and FB groups where scams are rampant. Yes there is a big difference between business and fraternity. One goes by a legal contract and other by trust.
But irrespective of what you mentioned in your essays, you do care about the ratings. You gave reference of your market ratings from old TE account and even dug out Erodov link to establish buyers trust in you. And based on that only the buyer sent you money; trusting you and without being aware of who you are or having legal business binding in place.
So why you cared about the ratings there when you feel that they don't matter ?? You could have sent the card without the money in hand !!! And if all went well ( despite hiccups ) then no one would care.
You are in no position to differentiate between wrong or right. It's the moderator's responsibility. You seem to be too absorbed in preventing TE from becoming another Olx. I don't think you've suffered any loss around here. And you've locked your profile like NanditaRoy so can't conclude your issue. So why do you go around posting your opinions? Tell me how many people actually care? The trader rating is mere convenience. Take a look here. I'm pretty sure the OP was just leveraging trader ratings to his advantage. Some people will resort to 'who cares' in certain situations. I have.

I see that. I was not aware or may be was set long back while exploring the settings. But is unlocked now.
I'm one of those who have seen much trustful times on TE. And unlike the few, I'm part of those who care.
That statement may be technically correct, but it puts a different slant on the issue. Dishonest people do not cheat and lie all the time in every single thing they do. That wouldn't even be possible. As an example, a company or government worker may do his job correctly most of the time. But if he diverts company/govt funds into his own pocket even once, then he's a corrupt person. If a shop cheats its customers once in a while, then they're dishonest.
My own experience with this member, as related above in my previous post, was that he offered to sell the item to me at a higher price - after another member had paid for it. That may not be strictly against the law or TE rules, but it's certainly not the behavior of an honest person.
had a talk with his another number provided by @C0rnh0li0 ... he said he is in some remote place and asked 2-3 days time. his voice was breaking a lot. Not sure how far it is true. as soon as he picked up the call, he did not respond with a "hello". I had to prompt him a few times. but anyway had a conversation with him now. Let's see after a few days

Received PM from another FM. I'm not interested in being of help WRT this issue. One of the posters above made a personal attack. It got deleted by mods. None of them have been of actual help to victims. Quoting out of context to argue is only going to deter others from coming forward. You cannot justify personal attachment or agenda in public places unless you own it. I am out.
