I am buying a 810A as benq1640 is not available... Just want to know if this is region free or not.. If its not how can i make it region free. Is there any RPC-1 firmware available for 810A. i couldn't find any.
 
No DVD Writer is available region free off the shelf.You need to make it region free.
If RPC1 firmware isnt available for SOny firmware,then you can crossflash to BenQ and i am confident that RPC1 firmware is there for BenQ firmware.
 
Will i require Qsuite also or can i crossflash it directly with RPC1 firmware of 1640. I believe 810A and 1640 share the same chipset.

You don't need QSuite, just go to rpc1.org, download the RPC1 .cvt version of BSLB (best FW, IMO!), download BQFlasher (google), and crossflash. If needed, teh .810A's cvt is also available to flash back.
