Reliance acquired Bigbazaar

After reliance acquired bigbazaar, I'm curious to know what happens to the existing warehouse inventory/stock of bigbazaar.

Any acquisition is usually not effective immediately. There's a quiet period involved around more than a month. Even after that the control depends on the terms of acquisition agreement and transition period.
It could very well be that Bigbazaar can continue to work as is but with Reliance branding and as a parent company.

Eg: clothes in bigbazaar will now be re-tagged into reliance brands etc.?
Just need to understand how this goes internally.

Again, it all depends on the sale agreement. Did it involve sale of already procured and existing goods/stock of warehouses or not? If yes, they would get that valuation in the sale deed and amount.
Or they may have ample time to sell it off before the complete takeover without acquiring more stock which may not sell before the full takeover.

It could be anything.

I donno what's being said in the news and all but the ground reality is that all the future retail stores have been closed at least here in Delhi, with a board uptop which says reliance trends..
Not a single fbb store is left, the staff had told that all the inventory has been taken over by reliance people and is diverted..

This was almost 8 to 10 months back.
So i am also confused about who has taken over bb
