Thats an average of 5.6kBps.U can get a lot better than that for 1500 bucks.
Even in my god-forsaken place,'true' 128k connections hover around the 1000 rupee mark now.(Last year that was the going rate for a 32-40k connection.) :p
 
Well your god forsaken place still has much better penetration and better schemes which are not available everywhere. However reliance is available almost everywhere. so for us poor souls it has to be either reliance or tata for unlimited downloads.
