Renewal of Driving License

Applied to renew my licence on the Parivahan website recently that was converted to digital from paper around 5 years back. Process took 5-10 minutes and like anything now it uses Aadhar verification, most of the time was lost in entering the countless captchas. The total cost was around 463 using credit card as payment, so at least the application process seems seamless. Got to see how much time it takes to receive the licence now.

DL was finally renewed after over 2 months following a complaint. Have it on Digilocker and has been dispatched by Speed Post.

Not the fastest but at least it was stress free.

Yeah, thats common with most govt. sites. Just ensure you give two extra spaces.

I once spent half an hour editing a 1000 words complaint on rbi website finally realising we are not supposed to use even . at the end of sentences so it all became a jumbled mess during submission.

It is printed as a single line at the bottom of the license, so there is no issue of an odd line break. No need to add extra spaces asit isn't going to help with the readability much.
