i want to repair my vista! i have laptop
how i do that?

If its an OEM laptop, then you may have just an image.

So first try sfc /scannow
Else this may guide you.

but i dont think that i have recovery partition..

this process is the same as xp repair?

firstly which laptop do u have?? usually most of the laptop's with vista come with a recovery partition..and second check if there is an option to create recovery disks,, if so then create one, and then do the repairing..
