Folks, everytime I relogin to TE and try to do an advanced search for posts I had made during my previous visits, I keep getting results only from threads that I started.

It's been like this ever since TE changed to VB4 and now it's getting very annoying. I've tried many options in Advanced Search, after entering my username i.e. older newer, all, posts only etc. but with no success.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is there another way to search for posts I made prior to my current visit?
 
Hmm just click on "New Post" in the upper-left side of the page to see posts made after your previous visit. There is no need to do advance search..

Actually I'm looking for posts that I had made since my current visit. That way, I can follow threads that I'd previously participated in. New posts are fine. Sorry if I was not clear. I've edited my previous post.

Click on Settings > General Settings > And set "Default Thread Subscription Mode" as "Through my Control Panel only".

Whenever you will reply in any thread, you'll be automatically subscribed to that thread. You can view your subscribed threads by clicking on Settings henceforth. :)
 
Could you post a screenie?

I think you might be getting confused cause the new search result format is a bit confusing and shows "by <username>" beneath all threads giving the impression those threads are yours. Please re-check just to make sure.

Actually, I don't want to subscribe to all the threads that I participate in. I only subscribe to threads that I believe will come useful later :).

Eddy, can you PM an email address of yours to me so that I could email the screenshots to you? I tried and I can't seem to get imageshack to work for image uploads.
 
Sorry to dig up an old thread, but this new search has got got me flummoxed. The older search had options of "search in thread" and "search in title" for the keyword, and "posted by" and "thread started by" for users. How do we do that now? :?
