Required: Performance Report - Nokia C6

Hi..

A friend is looking up for a phone in the budget of 12k or thereabouts.

Requirements stated were- Qwerty keypad and big screen. Natural choice was Nokia C6.

Also C6 has had issues earlier with problems ranging from hanging to slow/bad response etc. Previous owners have strictly advised against the C6.

Now friend mentioned about the f.w revision of C6 got, and being devoid of the problems mentioned earlier. I got no news/report regarding the same.

Can anybody confirm about this ?

Avoid ... its not a really nice phone tbh.. get the C6-01 for a bit more. Wonderful device.. same internals as the N8.

@OP - stick with the E71. Best Nokia phone in ages.

Oh shucks.. missed out the qwerty requirement. You could go for the E71 / E72 both are great phones but then they lack the big screen.

If i am not mistaken, E72 again had issues with the stuttering as well ?

No one considering E5 ?? Its got better specs than E71/E72 .

E5 also comes with a small screen and very poor display.I am using it,it is a good VFM phone though.

What issues ? Never heard of em let alone experienced them. The E72/71 are some of the best phones which Nokia has made... absolutely love the reliability of this phone.

Get c6-01

Good camera(although it's an average 8MP), great hardware(teh GPU is equivalent or better than power vr sgx 540), great screen(CBD is the best)

The GPU, actually, is as fast as the Adreno 205 actually, not the SGX540.
The Broadcom BCM2727 chip isn't that fast but it no slouch either.
