Just got back from a bike trip to leh, anyone going in that direction should try out the parathas at the the dhaba at the koksar checkpost - awe freaking some. Also, in leh, Hotel Grill & curry and Hotel bon-appetit - both on fort road serve some damn good food. I recommend the Yak cheese sandwich at the latter hotel.

Bumping a very old thread.

Anyone staying in Pune has been to the newly opened Green and Olives restaurant in Aundh, Pune ?
They serve vegetarian Italian dishes. Keen to try out once.

Sahara Star @ Andheri - OKish. Had gone there for dinner.

Ankshita near Fort - Superb south indian snack - open on sundays! However avoid potato toast ~ not worth having.

Will have to check location history for other places.

Cheapo places for those on budget - Bombay Burgers @ Chembur Station (E) and opposite Docomo store @Ghatkopar Stn (W)

Guys can anyone recommend me buffets in Mumbai.

Something similar to tenzo temple and bbq nation.
I was gonna suggest BBQ nation. Btw which BBQ nation have you been to ? I am planning to go there next month, total of 7 people, all veg eating. Any chance of getting any discount there ?

Best BBQ i believe is the Thane one. However the Lokhandwala one is rated higher on Zomato.
The reason i prefer the Thane one is because it is very spacious and the ambience is better than Sakinaka and Worli.

I would suggest you to go before 7.30 as the discount will be around 100 rs per head. So 100*7 = 700 would be your savings.

You sure about this 7:30 thing ? Also there is a good chance we will go for lunch and not dinner. Is there a discount for lunch as well ?
The rates as per zomato for Andheri one are Rs. 520 Mon-Sat and Rs 710 Sunday lunch. Not considering dinner.
Also we can mostly go to Lokhandwala (near Fun republic ?) as that is the most convenient location.

For the pune guys - There is a lebanese joint opposite kamla nehru park (the entrance), I had only the humus and falafel - and they were really good. My friends tried the non-veg and said that it was really tasty,

Also recommended an oldie but a goodie- the idli-center at the MIT college U-turn on paud road. fantastic dhai-vada and dal-vada.

Seriously? I've been staying at a 1 min walk from this place for over a year, but still haven't checked it out. Will try it out soon.
Checked out its neighbour Tenzo Temple, and it was just OK.

Yep i am pretty sure about it. Last month we reached there before 7.30 on a sunday and we were given some kind of a discount. Do call and check when you are booking the table.

yes i asked them, we are going on a saturday and only dinner is possible, before 7:30, 600 Rs for veg and 770 after 7:30. I will make it a point to reach before 7:30 Pm.
