Storage Solutions Retrieving shift-deleted files and folders

i use Tune up utilities .. its like a tweaking programs for windows ,,, but it also has a undelete sifwater that i alwaz use to recover accidently delted files ... it has alwaz worked for me ! Try it once !
 
I used Recuva, but was not able to find the files I was looking for.ALl the bandwidth used to download Gladiator 720P BRrip down the drain :(
 
Open Recuva > Options > Action Tab > Check on "Deep Scan" + etc

When you shift-delete a file, it doesn't really get deleted from the disk surface instantly rather your OS marks that space as free.
Recuva will recover all such files that havn't been overwritten.

I think I selected the option Deep scan.but results didn't show up the zip files, neither did it show the extracted .mkv file.

When I googled earlier, I read in a random forum that you have to stop using your computer or use it as minimal as possible while trying to retrieve the files deleted.It makes some sense to me but can anyone shed some light on this?

hence you should minimise usage on that particular drive
