First, you'll need following Softwares -
1. Winamp - any version.
2. StreamRipper (Which is Freeware Winamp Plugin)
3. Any Streaming Playlist (Attaching one Example file...)

  • Here we go, If you don't have Winamp installed then Download it from Winamp and Install it.
  • Now go to SourceForge.net: Files and download suitable Streamripper version according to your Operating system or your need.
  • Install the StreamRipper.
  • Open any Internet Radio Playlist or Streaming file using Winamp, which's being casted via Internet... (Example file attached below)
  • You will see SR icon

  • Now you should see the icon @ taskbar, Double click on it.
  • If just click on Start, StreamRipper will start ripping online streams on your Harddisk. If you want to change the Options, Location for Saving MP3 file and other things... Click on Options.

^^ Even the Ripped Audio Files have Awesome quality.... I always use them to save some Live Radio Edits by DJs....

To rip files from websites use file2hd.com with many different options and can be applicable to any site out there.

Will this work in Mediamonkey? Don't use winamp but still both winamp and mediamonkey use shoutcast.

first I thought any law suits has been forces on Online radios as the title says RIP(rest in Peace) lol.

It's illegal to discuss ripping of radio station as such attempts can be logged under copyright infringement.

To make it legal just edit the topic to "RIP online free audio tutorials and video" and write a disclaimer at the end :)
