Road Trip - Jammu Kashmir Ladakh

In May-June 2010, 3 of my friends and I went on a bike trip from Jammu - Srinagar - Drass - Kargil - Leh - Pangong and back.

We put our bikes in the train from Pune and reached Jammu and started our journey.

So without further ado, here are some our pics. All these pics were taken by my friend Harshad who is a professional photographer.

^ Nice mate.... I've been also thinking of doing bike-trip to Ladakh. Had visited it few years ago and wanted to do Monastery centric trip (visiting and exploring all small & big monasteries) on Bike in future.

I recently moved my photography workflow to Lightroom and was thinking of re-processing all my Ladakh pics and creating a new album. This just entices me more to start working on it soon... that and re-visiting the place again, too.

When do we plan it? The only thing I am worried about is the damn bike breaking down and stuff like that. What time of the year is the best for going?
